It’s election season, and that means the left will be resurrecting COVID. Talk of COVID is increasing lately, with stories like “backyard wildlife is spreading COVID” being reported on.
I can tell you that COVID cases in my ED are not increasing and are still outnumbered by the flu.

What a load of crap. Nasel swabs. Thought those were proven to be inaccurate at best. Not peer reviewed. Only “corroboration” are “reviews” by faculty members.

If I may, is this an unusually active flu for the summer? I always think of that as a winter thing.
I came down with whatever it is three weeks ago and I’m still not fully over it. My wife got it almost a week later from me, and is coughing a bit less than I am. Friends scattered around the country are getting something similar.

Flu is a winter thing for a couple of reasons:
1 Kids are in school, all in close proximity indoors and sharing germs.
2 It’s cold up north, so more people are indoors more of the time.
3 sunlight kills germs, so being outside helps with that.
In Florida, we are largely flipped. People stay indoors in the air conditioning during the summer, so we don’t get as much of a pronounced winter flu season as they do in colder climates.
Still, it’s the slow season for Florida’s hospitals. That’s because the snowbirds are gone, and even though there aren’t a lot of them in comparison to the overall population, they are a large percentage of hospital patients, because old people are closer to dying and have a lot more health problems. Even a simple UTI is much more serious in an older person than it is in a younger one. That’s one of the reasons why COVID is deadlier in older people.
So the hospital census is down about 40%. All overtime has been cut out. Nurses get sent home early, especially from the ED. I have been getting sent home early nearly every night. An hour or two early every day adds up. They nearly cut my shift out entirely yesterday. I hate having my PTO used like that, I would rather take it to go on vacation.

The plotters who brought us “COVID” needed something to amplify the presence of a “disease,” and that “something” wass the PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test. Never meant to be used as a test for any viral illness, it has been used to scare the world.
Kary Mullis, inventor of the PCR test itself, warned that it was NOT for detection of the presence of virus. Short reason? It is so incredibly sensitive that it detects even small snippets of viral particles, reading them as “positive.” Even old viral particles floating around our systems can read as “positive.”
Kary cannot be reached for comment though; he (conveniently) died in August of 2019, just before the shytshow kicked off (he had been an outspoken critic of the knt Fauci).
Guaranteed, then, that any pandemic will include liberal use of PCR technology.
Be aware. Question everything. Stock up on ivermectin, a drug that is truly a “Gift from the Gods.”

Haven’t seen any cases of COVID since early May, despite testing every transfer and admission, and every incoming respiratory complaint pt., for it.
It’s literally turned into Bigfoot since the beginning of Spring when the sun came out.

We both got a very severe, highly productive upper throat cough last week.
Our MD had us do the OTC Covid tests, and hey presto, WuFlu. We are in our 70s.
Due to clotting issues and general sensibility, neither of us have, or will be, taking the not-a-vax. We started Doxycycline in case there was a bacterial vector. Our Dr Rx Paxlovid for the test.
We are recovering nicely, with no loss of O2 levels or other complications.
My observation is that this incident, its’ symptoms, timing, and progress are identical to one I had in December 2019, while living on our boat in PSL, FLA, preparing for the Winter cruising season.
Thanks for your work and observations.
