Do you want to know what is coming here in the US? All you have to do is listen. On August 26, Biden told Democrats that, “The MAGA Republicans don’t just threaten our personal rights and economic security… They’re a threat to our very democracy. They refuse to accept the will of the people. Trump and the extreme MAGA Republicans have made their choice — to go backwards full of anger, violence, hate, and division. But we’ve chosen a different path forward, the future, unity, hope and optimism.”

Then, just last week, the White House Press Secretary said that anyone who doesn’t agree with Democrats is an extremist.

The President himself then sent this message out on social media.

The NY Times is comparing the American right to ISIS and the Taliban. The Times goes on to call the grievances of the right “either wild exaggerations or outright fantasies — antifa supersoldiers, totalitarian globalists, satanic pedophiles.”

Now word comes out just today that Hillary Clinton said 9/11 is a reminder US must ‘deal with extremism of any kind.’ Then the reporter asked Clinton, “All of America’s elected officials really genuinely put party aside and came together after those attacks. Would that be possible today?”

“Well, I hope that it will be, and I give President Biden a lot of credit for trying to continue to reach out to people while still sounding the alarm about the threats to our democracy,” Clinton responded.

So the party that spent the four years of the Trump presidency screaming ‘resist’ and ‘not my President’ while simultaneously doing all that they could to oppose Trump’s policies is, now that their party is in the Oval Office, demanding that the entire country fall in line behind the President.

That isn’t how this works. Still, Clinton went on: “So we are in a funny position, Dana, because there’s a small, but very vocal, very powerful, very determined minority who wants to impose their views on all the rest of us, and it’s time for everybody, regardless of party to say, ‘No, that’s not who we are as America.’”

It’s working. In a Reuters poll, most Americans polled see Trump supporters as being a threat to the country. Fifty-eight percent of respondents in the poll – including one in four Republicans – said Trump’s supporters are threatening America’s democratic foundations.

This is the sort of talk that you would expect in a country where a political power or a dictator is getting ready to purge people, is getting ready to ethnically cleanse people. This is not normal talk.

Professor William A Jacobson, Founder of the Website Legal Insurrection

It’s clear- they intend to eliminate what they are referring to as a “threat to democracy.” That threat is anyone who opposes them.

That threat to be eliminated is you.

I seriously doubt that

as a matter of cognitive hygiene, it is important to realize that essentially every time you see something like this, it is 100% bullshit telegraphing what they expect/want you to think; you may as well assume that they just made everything in support of their position up, because they basically did

for those who insist on thinking that it might be possible, well, you can do this experiment yourself with a quasi-Bayesian approach: how many people do you know? how many think this way? does that “58%” number comport with your own sampling? (reminder: you are a representative sample of the country in your own way)

ask your friends: does it comport with theirs? do 58% of the people they know think that supporters of ORANGE HITLER are the problem?

the results will be illuminating

Dark bunch ain’t they ?
Here’s to’em😂😂

Aesop · September 12, 2022 at 2:44 am

Fair enough.

They’d best bring a lot of friends, and pack a lunch.
And probably leave the married men and infirm behind.

1. They project like an Imax, meaning they broadcast their own plans.
2. When they say Democracy, substitute Democrats and you’ll have the right meaning of it.

    Chipmunk · September 12, 2022 at 2:46 pm

I’ve kind of noticed that everything they accuse the Right of is what they are or are doing.

McChuck · September 12, 2022 at 9:37 am

And of course the 50 Trump supporters whom the FBI raided on Friday aren’t headlining the news. Because reasons.

This is how you know you’re in a functioning Democratcy – lies, cover-ups, censorship, political prosecutions, and purges. Oh, and a lack of resources like fuel, power, and food. But plenty of money to cause inflation and ruin savings.

Jonesy · September 12, 2022 at 4:45 pm

This couldn’t happen if we had a functioning media. The rhetoric is so bad and they don’t question any of it. The actions by this administration are way out of line and they don’t question any of it. When things ramp up they will simply not cover it, and downplay things when they can’t cover it up. I never thought they could gaslight the country to this degree and not lose the public.

    Aesop · September 13, 2022 at 11:56 am

    “not lose the public”???

Have you seen a Neilsen ratings report in the last 20 years?

      Jonesy · September 13, 2022 at 7:02 pm

Ratings and polls don’t mean shit…and enough people eat up everything the media says to vote to keep democrats in power all over this country. And this red wave seems like its petering out because spineless Republicans don’t fight back.

        Divemedic · September 13, 2022 at 8:31 pm

I don’t think the red wave ever had a shot.

        Aesop · September 14, 2022 at 3:56 am

So the answer to that question is a hard “No.”

What makes you think enough people vote to keep democrats in power?
Do you believe Biden really got 81M votes?
So if they faked that result, tell me why the other elections must’ve been honest. Or when they switched.

And why you didn’t figure that out on your own.
And why you still act like polling data doesn’t matter, or like elections aren’t rigged, even though you know better.

Or what “fighting back” you’ve been doing once it dawned on you.

        Stop letting George do it.
That’s the answer, but it irritates people.
        Probably including you.

And until that penny drops much more widely, you’ll keep getting what you tolerate. And worse to come.

joe · September 12, 2022 at 4:53 pm

we are the modern day version of the jews to the left…it started with the vax crap…the unvaxxed…evil people…we went from deplorables to the ultra maga…we are the kkk of the modern era…they can’t hide the hate any longer…before it was more subtle…now it’s out in the open…

“They” are loudly proclaiming the opinions and positions they want to be established as fact. They are not stating truth — they are deeply committed to propaganda. The more they hammer away with propaganda, the more it will take hold among the sheep as a distorted reality. But the real threats are carefully veiled and will turn on the citizens like a thunderclap.

But there will be resistance – steady opposition. They may call those who oppose them whatever they choose. Unfortunately, for them, the opposition will be fierce and will not go quietly into the night.

Russell G. · September 12, 2022 at 7:38 pm

Let them up their threats, then.
Talk is over.

GBU43B · September 13, 2022 at 8:07 pm

Since when is a Reuters poll, or any poll by an MSM outlet, reliable information?

    Divemedic · September 13, 2022 at 8:31 pm

It doesn’t matter if it is reliable, as long as people THINK it is. Perception is everything, especially in politics.
