LOTS of them will have no evidence… in other cases, judges have forced a downgrading of charges to too minor to justify imprisonment, yet they are still being held.
I’ve seen numerous references to vicious treatment in jails, with broken bones, destroyed eyes, and other injuries that will be life long disabilities for many of the accused….
I’m surprised that they are going to drop the case, even with this lack of evidence; the federal agents and prosecutors involved have made clear from the beginning that they are going to pursue those they want to pursue regardless of the law or evidence…
