While I agree with the truck owner’s spirit, the more effective option legally is to get out of the truck while she has the bat in her hand and either beat that ass, or simply shoot her to prevent her deadly weapon attack.

Ranch Hand makes replacement bumper/grill guards for just such occasions. Plus they are excellent defense against deer strikes at highway speeds from personal experience.
