So an apology when I am wrong. I posted a couple of months ago my estimate for the illegal immigrant population. I said that I believed it was 16 million. There were those in comments who claimed it was as many 30 million. All of us may have been low.

News came out this week, many of the non-domiciled (in other words out of state residents) CDLs are issued illegally to illegal immigrants. North Carolina has 53%, New York 52%, and California claiming 29%, but not allowing the Feds to check. In all, there are 100,000 KNOWN illegal immigrants with CDLs in the US.

One in five construction workers are illegals. As many as 4 million. Of course, the pro-illegal lobby says those illegals built 400,000 houses (non-hosted PDF alert). Unless they are all living 10 to a house, that’s a net loss.

During the third Obama term Biden administration, as many as 3 million people a year illegally entered the US, so there is another 12 million. In fact, 52 million people (1 in 6 of us) are not born in this nation, that we know of. Half of them have been here for over 10 years, a quarter of them more than 20.

Anecdotally, there are dozens of counties in this state where more than half of the residents do not speak English. Before anyone accuses me of having this opinion out of racism: I say the same shit when people move here from New York, so don’t go there. Your race card won’t work here.

The Center for Migrant Studies of New York, a liberal, pro-illegal immigration lobbying group, claims that there are 8.4 million illegal immigrant workers in the US. as of 2024. The data above suggests that the number is far, far higher. Looking at these numbers, 30 million illegals seems low. While there are no accurate counts, all evidence points to there being a much larger illegal immigrant population than anyone is estimating. There are perhaps as many as 45 million illegals at this point- one out of every 7 residents.

We have been overrun. There is no way the US can possibly get rid of the illegals at this point. They are entering at multiples of what can be deported, especially considering the resistance coming from the left.

When ICE hit Charlotte, NC, there was much hububaloo about the kids being snatched in the schools, so the sanctuary city did it’s best to protect them and their families. They told everyone they wouldn’t face penalties for not coming to school during the ICE raids. Schools in Charlotte reported a 25% drop in attendance.
If you or your kid is legally allowed to be in this country, would you NOT send them to school because of ICE Raids? Of course not. Your kid would go to school. Ergo one may infer, that up to 25% of Charlotte’s residents, are illegal. One quarter.
What would rent look like if 25% of the houses were suddenly available? What would the hospital wait-times be if 1/4 of the population (and likely 50% of the cases) were simply no longer there? What would the help-wanted section look like, if 25% of the manual-labor jobs were ‘open’? What would construction look like.. Bahahahahaa! That’s just one city, in one state. Most states have 2 or 3 cities the size of Charlotte, the blue-hives. Thats a lot of people.
The flip-side to the corallary, which I’m not ignorant of, is what would happen to the cost of everything, if the labor-costs increased in response? I used to deliver produce to restaurants – 50% OR MORE of the kitchens are quasi-legal, maybe (more like 75%). Would you want to pay $30 bucks for a plate at Olive Garden? That’s what would happen.

    Divemedic · January 19, 2026 at 8:53 am

So illegals are essentially slave labor so you can get cheaper stuff?

Capt. Frederick Wentworth · January 19, 2026 at 12:28 pm

So what? Besides, it is the debasement of the fiat currency–well, let’s just stipulate the very existence of dishonest, unsound money–that is responsible for price inflation, not the availability of chap labor. Also, I can stay away from Olive Garden; I can’t, however, stay away from the hordes of foreigners admitted into *my* country.

DWEEZIL THE WEASEL · January 19, 2026 at 1:02 pm

Joe: Just as water seeks its own level, so does the economy. FWIW, I grew up in the 1950’s in Granada Hills, CA. We had 17 Valencia orange trees on our property. The Bracero Program, which is migrant labor, was in place and my dad contracted with Sunkist to have their laborers pick out fruit. Part of their wages were withheld and sent to their families in Mexico. At the end of the season, they went back. That all ended with Ceasar Chavez, the Communist-infiltrated UFW, and the war criminal LBJ. And THAT is when the prices of food started going up.
If Olive Garden has to charge 30 bucks for a plate of spaghetti, then people will stop going out to eat. Many restaurant chains in this corrupt, syphilitic-thinking country have closed over the last several years due to patrons not being able to afford to eat out. Olive Garden may fold, but other small businesses will fill the gap.
During by youth, ethnic restaurants sponsored their help from overseas. The help got green cards and later became citizens. We must face the fact that this simple and legal solution is gone forever. It was destroyed by the Socialist-Abortion Party, who wanted more gimmedat voters, and the Dead Elephant Party, who wanted union-busting slave wages labor. And here we are. Bleib ubrig.

    Steady Steve · January 19, 2026 at 5:57 pm

I wouldn’t pay half that for a plate at Olive Garden. Their fare generally sucks. Sure some restaurant chains wouldn’t survive, some are on edge now and closing locations.

What the Trump Administration has apparently failed to appreciate and effectively counter is that all of the injunctions and TROs are designed first and foremost to simply cause delay. For the most part, they’re eventually overturned, but usually only after a few months. That still counts as a win for the left. Meanwhile, the Republicans’ trifecta has less than a year remaining. Next year, if the Dems take the House, his cabinet secretaries will do nothing but prepare for and appear at hostile hearings (to say nothing of fend off impeachments).

    Divemedic · January 19, 2026 at 8:55 am

Exactly. They are trying to run out the clock. In the end, nothing being done will matter. The left is already gleefully talking about tossing all ICE agents in prison.

tfourier · January 19, 2026 at 7:38 am

Based on the real numbers in CA in the 1980’s and 1990’s when the state and media still talked about them even with the 1986 “Amnesty” at least 50% of all “Hispanics” in the state were illegals. Or their anchor baby kids. So about 4 million. In 1990.

In 2020 illegals and their anchor babies are probably closer to 10 million. Just in California. About 25% of the state population.

Repeat across the US as apart from the 86’ers and the “family reunion” loophole the number of legal “Hispanic” immigrants was at most a few 100K. For the last 40 years. So with around 60M “Hispanics” in the US a plausible estimate would be in the 40M range for illegals and anchor babies. And now anchor baby babies.

As most of the illegals are from Mexico and Central America and are mestizos and indios who vote for parties like PRI. Morena etc they expect state handouts from party machine politicians. So natural Democrat voters. No matter how hard working, religious and family oriented in daily life. They come from a political culture of the patrĂ³n. The party machine politician handing out free stuff to the people who vote for them. Paid for by the tax-payer.

ghostsniper · January 19, 2026 at 7:44 am

At this point the only cure is open season perpetrated by Raging Patriots everywhere.

    Divemedic · January 19, 2026 at 8:56 am

I dont even think that will work.

      McChuck · January 19, 2026 at 10:02 am

All of human history shows not only that it does work, but that it is the only thing that does. Immigration is invasion. Gaius Julius Caesar earned his reputation (in part) by slaughtering a quarter million hostile German immigrants in Gaul and kicking the survivors back across the Rhine. And he did that in one summer.

        Divemedic · January 19, 2026 at 12:08 pm

It would work, but it wasn’t done when it needed to be done. I feel like it’s too late at this point, at least on a national scale. The only thing that will work at this point is for the US to be fragmented. Then some of those fragments may be able to make it work. The point is, we will be lucky to be confined to reservations. More likely, we will simply be used until we are no longer useful, then pushed aside.

          McChuck · January 20, 2026 at 7:31 am

The future lies on the other side of rivers of blood, mountains of skulls, and oceans of tears.

This is always true. Only the time scale changes.

Michael · January 19, 2026 at 8:31 am

And the smoke of our smoldering Color Revolution is smelled in many blue states.

It’s a piss poor comfort that THEY will lose control and suffer also. That German word Schadenfreude will not give your children food or safe water.

Tribe up with people you trust friends.

EN2 SS · January 19, 2026 at 8:34 am

I don’t remember the exact date, but at least ten years ago, the Mexican radio stations in Houston were saying, openly, that there were at least four million illegals in the Houston area.

Bill · January 19, 2026 at 9:34 am

Nope. I worked for a 3-letter agency for a number of years. A colleague and I were discussing the “whisper number” of illegals. This was in 2010, and I had just returned to my home office from an assignment. The numbers 12 million and 14 million were tossed about at that time. I said “someone” had told me more like 33-35 million.

Not even close. A woman colleague – an extremely bright analyst, with intel connections I did not have, said these lowballs were all lies. She knew from her sources it was in excess of 100 million. In 2010.

We’re toast. Our society will br gone in 1 generation.

Texas Dan · January 19, 2026 at 9:42 am

It’s 50 million easy.

McChuck · January 19, 2026 at 9:50 am

There were over 30 million Illegals here before Biden allowed a known (!) 14 million in.

There is a simple solution to this problem. Simple is not the same as easy. And we may not win. But if we don’t try, we lose for sure and certain. And the light of Western Civilization will be snuffed out forever.

Outwest · January 19, 2026 at 10:24 am

Perhaps three years ago I came upon a post by a logistics professional, many years of experience. I failed to bookmark the post and have since been unable to find it. So this is anecdotal at best. Perhaps someone else could track it down. Generally speaking, he had been working numbers and spread sheets on the topic of illegals in the US for several years.

In the logistics world there are particular ratio’s, individuals to commodities, etc., that rarely vary in first world countries. He found wide unexplained discrepancies where there shouldn’t be any at all. His conclusion was the minimum number of illegals in the US was at least 100 million, and could be as high as 150 million.

    Bill · January 20, 2026 at 11:28 am

Thanks OUTWEST. This fully aligns with the intel analyst’s numbers from 2010. Horrible stuff, all self inflicted gunshot wound to society, but we need the truth on this. And the truth hurts.

Henry · January 19, 2026 at 10:28 am

With such a staggering number of illegals present, I agree that there’s no realistic way to deport all of them. However, what we can expect is that the administration, in the time remaining, can target those with criminal records, receiving welfare benefits, and/or failing to pay taxes. Removing those threats and parasites is a compromise many, if not most of us would find acceptable.

Steve S6 · January 19, 2026 at 10:34 am

And many are reproducing like rabbits on top of it. No I don’t consider the offspring of illegals as US citizens.

Steve · January 19, 2026 at 12:36 pm

So… Greenland!

We may not be able to deport them, but it’s plausible we could send them to the 51st state. Make that the only state that fedbux subsidize any social programs, and we might even get our blue hellholes back. We are good at fixer-uppers.

TRX · January 19, 2026 at 12:36 pm

Start with a National ID card, backed by a certified birth certificate. I don’t like the idea of an ID either, but Britain did it during WWII, then got rid of it after the war. Labor brought the cards back later, but that’s a separate problem.

National ID required to: vote, work, get a tax refund, get a bank account, go to school, join a union, get medical care, get any Federal, state, or local aid, dealing with the police or EMTs, to get utilities turned on, etc. Stiff penalties for any business or agency that fails to check their ID. Anyone who can’t provide their ID, a toll-free narc line to ICE and a cash bonus for turning them in.

Housing the ones backed up due to transport issues: Tents. US soldiers live in them when deployed. Illegals can too.

Anchor babies: issue them passports. Let the parents take them home if they want. Otherwise, orphanages.

They pay their own way home, or their originating country pays to repatriate their stranded citizens. If their country doesn’t want them back and they have no money, penal labor until they earn enough for their fare. Organ donation would also be acceptable.

Jester · January 19, 2026 at 1:21 pm

It was done directly as a Democrat/socialist/commie plan to replace the normal thinking and average American. Flat out. They may not be able to legally vote now but watch when the Demoncats seize control of all 3 parts of our dysfunctal .gov. Suddenly we will have a new amesty bill passed which just locks in the votes of all the illegals to the Democrats for generations. That gives them a super majority in every state that matters for the electoral college. To the point where they can amend and recind all the parts of the constitution that matter. If there was a thought that the votes would have gone in anyway to Republicans the entire southern border would have been a DMZ that makes Korea look like a picket fence.

Treefarmer · January 20, 2026 at 4:04 pm

Yep. The tipping point has already been reached. Within the next twenty years it will be interesting to watch the hispanic and muslim tribs battle eachother for political and economic supremacy. America as a European, Christian nation is finished.

Chuck · January 22, 2026 at 3:29 pm

Instead of mass deportations that are never going to get enough to make a real difference, we should be announce a one month amnesty after which anyone caught employing or renting to illegals will be jailed. Without jobs or homes they will leave on their own.

    Divemedic · January 22, 2026 at 8:58 pm

Even easier- I’ve said this for years: Anyone caught hiring an illegal immigrant will be fined $5,000 each occurrence, with every day and every illegal employed counting as a separate occurrence. Hire 10 illegals for a week? $350,000 fine. No exceptions.

Then make a whistleblower law: anyone (even an illegal) who turns in someone employing illegals gets half of any and all fines collected as a result.

As soon as it is no longer economically feasible to hire them, they will go home.

      Chuck · January 22, 2026 at 9:06 pm

Something along the lines of either comment is exactly what would have been done if Trump and Co, were serious about the issue, not the deportation kabuki theater.
