DD Harriman Elon Musk is at it again. This is a shot, taken through the screen on my birdcage as you can tell, of this morning’s launch.
That man is single handedly reviving America’s aspirations of a space program.

Saw similar here just north of Titusville. Pretty spectacular!

That’s funny… not 10-minutes ago the boss came in to the office showing me the clip from his phone this morning. All the way up here in Knoxvegas you could see the exhaust plume streaking overhead.
… and yes, we remarked very similar comments. Where would our country/world be w/o that guy. It’s almost enough to forgive the shady Paypal stuff.

“That man is single handedly reviving America’s aspirations of a space program.”
NASA certainly isn’t capable anymore

They have been in decline for about the past 50 years. I was there at the Cape for the Apollo-Soyuz launch. Despite the shuttle program, NASA has been declining since.

Elon is single handedly getting the rest of the world to revive their ideas of a space program. SpaceX has done more launches than the rest of the world *combined* for a couple of years. They’re the only company on Earth that considers a rocket with six launches as “like new” and their fleet leader has flown 37 times with just minor tweaks now and then. Certainly not every flight.
His capital sin that got him banned by the left was pointing out all the fraud, waste and abuse in government spending. That made him celebrity-like, similar to the Evil Orange Man Bad.

This was a Falcon 9 launch early this morning. Freaking awesome.

And Starship is planning to fly from Florida soon. Starship will be flying from Texas, Louisiana, and Florida now. Sounds like a plan to me.

SpaceX is investing billions in SW Louisiana to be a Spaceport there. Plans for hundreds of flights a year.

NASA has been effectively useless since becoming a money pit with the shuttle (hey look at this squirrel, isn’t it sexy?) program. The uncountable billions spent there would have put us on the moon in a permanent base decades ago.
