My mother at 90 ended up in a rehab facility due to a fall and broken leg. She was completely mentally competent but very physically handicapped from contracting polio as a child. She had very specific needs that the sheboons that worked as aides at the facility did not understand. Due to this they left her sitting on the toilet as “punishment” for more than an hour for arguing with them. I found out about that and confronted the perps personally and privately. She was treated with respect after that partly because of my conversation with them and partly because I stopped in at random times every day. An old lady like this one probably doesn’t have anyone to advocate for her so this sheboon can get away with this type of treatment. Personally I believe that the sheboon should be dragged behind a car, not shot.

My wife and I got banned from going to the ‘rehab’ hospital where her mother was dying. Why? Because we were doing things like making sure she was clean (by doing it ourselves) and talking to her and letting my wife’s service dog touch her.
So we were restricted to one visit every other day, no dog, one person only. Until the last day.
Got that? No service dog, which effectively made it so that my wife could not see her mother. Got so bad they called the cops and the cop who showed up said he’d arrest my wife and send the dog to the pound, and since it was a Rottie, the pound would put the dog down. (A quick call to the Governor’s office shut that down, but the cops used it against me later, oh, boy, did they ever) (Even funnier, my wife was on the City’s disability access board, and was one of the people other small towns and cities called, as directed by the Governor’s office, to help understand service dog access.)
Yeah, it’s not the color of the skin. It’s the whole medical profession that needs a decimation in the old Roman way.

Being PART of that medical system, decimation (1 out of 10) aint near enough……more like 80% need to go….

There are large parts of that system that exist only to commit fraud while purposely keeping people sick. I was involved in an investigation when a former employer was raided by the Feds.

Keep elders out of those abattoirs if you can.
It is hard to deal with at times as they revert back to child like status but it is part of the cycle.
Those death camps are not staffed by people with empathy and the oldsters are still stuck in a society with standards and competence.
All of that was erased by the Long March.

These days some (not all) blacks have it out for white people. If this was a white CNA doing this to a black woman it would make national news but with this video, nothing to see here. Part of, maybe most of the problem around here was the CNA’s were only paid about $9/hr. They were scraping the bottom of the barrel to fill the positions. Only ferals need apply

And those are likely unlicensed staff to boot. Hired and on the job, same day, and the best they can find, most with criminal history and/or illegal aliens, in 90% of cases.
When McDonald’s is paying $16/hr, ask yourself who takes jobs paying half that.
One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest was a decades-outdated screed when it was made.
Notice how no one in Hollyweird wants to look at the abysmal elder care warehousing industry in this country, for fear of turning over the rock they would, and seeing what slithers out.
If surveying any facility for a relative, without any solid insider references, a good first rule is that if you walk in the door and it smells like your cat’s litterbox after a week of inattention, walk right back out. It isn’t going to get any better.
