The upper incomes folks may leave, the folks grinding out daily livings can’t or won’t, they’ll just continue to grind. This is especially true of illegals, New York in its worst day is better than where they came from. This middle ground group of so-called white collar professionals, and especially the liberal white women of Gen Z, are trapped by stupidity and the vanity of living in New York, they are about to get bibilical plague type suffering. It warms my cold heart.
