I am now thinking we are not going to have a Civil War in this country. Instead, we are going to slide into a pussified version of woke communism. Why? Because the men in this nation are pussies. Not all of them, but enough of them that the vision of the right fighting back is more of a cosplay fantasy than a reality. I know this is the third post on this, but bear with me for a minute. A dude is fondling another guy’s wife. The husband punches him, and men line up to say punching is an overreaction.
Don’t carry a gun. Don’t get a Punisher tattoo. Don’t talk about how you are going to dominate the left in some upcoming CW2. You can’t even defend your wife from a man who is fondling her. You say you are afraid of going to jail when your punch accidentally kills him, or you are afraid your wife will divorce you for lack of anger control. No, what’s going on here is that the men of this country are pussies. If you won’t even protect your family, you certainly won’t protect your nation. Honestly, I’m not even sure that a nation of men who allow their women to be groped by drunken morons is worth defending.
So the “men” of this nation will sit there, staring at the floor in shame, as another man ravishes their woman. They will call the cops, who will perhaps take a report, perhaps not, but more than likely won’t arrest this attacker. Even if the guy is arrested, it is likely he will face no punishment. All because you are afraid.
I just can’t get past this. Our nation is over. It’s done. Maybe I am the proverbial old man ranting at the cloud and the society I think we should have no longer can exist. Maybe it never did.

I think and have thought for quite some time that you are pretty much spot on…at 80 now and having worked all my life including military service (USMC), I look around as see whinners, crybabies and those who think that they are owed. Who knew? Maybe it is all the outcome of our generous (?) welfare society or the internet. Glad I grew up when I did and had good parents.

These days you’ll be arrested because prosecutors hate self defense or defense of others, your employer will fire you, the news will pillory you, the victim and the attacker (and/or their families) will sue you for excessive force, traumatization and loss of wages.

Try to protect a woman these days on a mass transit vehicle? They’ll arrest you, destroy you, and do everything possible to ruin you and your family and friends and the place you work and your church and your favorite restaurant and so forth and so on.
Now, be the drunken attacker and the legal system will ignore the attacks and blame it on the drink, not the person.

I think that most of the men that will fight for what’s right aren’t the kind of guys to hang out in a bar or pool hall. And their red lines haven’t been crossed yet. The commies have got their toes on the red line and their leaning over it, but they haven’t been crossed yet in a meaningful way. When it does happen, it’ll be a hideous situation… But even then I don’t think they’ll go far enough. But the ones who will stand up and fight are biding their time, stacking their preps deep and getting ready. It will be an extermination level event when it happens. They’re just quietly getting ready with no fanfare and trying to remain off the radar. I’m waiting because my red lines haven’t been crossed. When they are I’ll do something about it. As long as I can go get a gun when I want and read my Bible and pray openly in public I’m good. As far as the communist states go?…. Fuck them. I don’t live there and I don’t do business there. I came to the conclusion of the “poll” article that Western White men+++ are apex cowards and simps. Every time I see in comments, like Gateway Pundit, that say, “sue them,” or “arrest them.” Then what Bucko? Do any of you cowards have any inkling of an idea how complicated, complex, how prone to failure a legal case, criminal or civil, is? “Arrest them.” Fucking idiots.
First, you are a coward that outsourced your duty to protect you family to law enforcement officers that do not have a duty to protect your or your family. See, i.e. Castle Rock v. Gonzales, 545 U.S. 748 (2005). As Divemedic explicates, the cops are not going to do shit. OK, sure they might arrest them. Then what? The super complicated process known as criminal procedure is what. Then you have an arraignment. Then you might have to an additional hearing on release. A trial date is set. Then you have a bunch of hearings over disclosure, discovery, and making sure the case is ready for trial. If the defendant disputes the probable admission of certain kinds of evidence, say this video, there will be a whole series of hearings over whether that evidence should be admitted. If the defendant, takes a deal, you have hearing for accepting the plea deal. Trials are a complicated Rube Goldberg machine in and of themselves. You have voir dire, the openening statement, the presentment of evidence, the closing statements. The attorney has, at every given second, be prepared to make objections and defend objections from the opposing party. After a conviction at trial or the acceptence of a plea agreement, the court will then order a presentencing investigation so during the later sentencing hearing, the judge will have a paper trail to give the defendant community service. The time that runs between these hearing is often months. Justice delayed is no justice at all.
Secondly, you don’t have recourse to the civil courts unless you can pay for it. In the example given, the woman sexually assaulted could have sued the defendant for sexual assault in civil court for the tort called Battery=== or another intentional tort. To exercise this recourse would take years, cost thousands, with no idea of the probability ofthe defendant getting a judgment against him. But lets say you do win at civil court. Great. Now go exercise that judgment. Now you will have to go back to court to compel the judgement which costs more money time and effort. Justice delayed is no justice at all.
Let me spell it out to cowards like Max and Paul, you do not have recourse to the law: civil or criminal. I really can’t communicate how much contempt I have for the “arrest them,” “’just’ sue them,” “he coulda killed that guy” crowd. You cowards deserve to lose your country. And you are, because the Muslims ARE willing to fight and are winning.

I agree with what you’ve written here and what most of the commenters have said.
The system is entirely fucked and will only start to right itself when the culprit behind all of it fails.
That failure will occur ONLY after the global money machine can no longer produce the goods. That is, as long as the criminal US gov’t can chug along completely unconcerned with, and blowing money like there’s no tomorrow this nightmare will continue, and get worse.
In 1912, a thing that cost $1.00 now costs $98.00, and to have that $1.00 you have to earn $4.00, or in todays terms, ($98.00 x 4 =) $392.00.
The level of taxation and inflation is unsustainable for normal people, but the gov’t continues to spend without the burden of either of those things.
When the criminal US gov’t money machine finally fails there will automatically become a great leveling, where the productive will mainly succeed and the most parasitic will die or be killed off.
So all we can do is wait and try to make our way the best we can.
For 20 years my wife and I have chosen isolation and self sufficiency and strive for betterment of ourselves in all ways.

It’s very easy to yell a lot of grr woof woofery and puff out your chest and strut around saying you would totally kill the guy. And personally I wouldn’t care if you did kill the guy. All I said was that in our current legal climate it’s going to cost you a lot of money and time in court. Maybe even prison time. God forbid the guy was black – now you’re looking at federal involvement, hate crime charges and a jury that’s afraid to find you not guilty for fear of riots.
Now if you live in such a deep red area that the cops will show up and do nothing but grin and fist bump you as they drag away the corpse…well, I’m happy for you. But this isn’t good advice in most of the country.
One last question: Obviously you are OK with a punch that resulted in possible death or permanent brain injury. So if the husband had immediately pulled a gun and shot the butt-toucher, would you support that? Why or why not?

Lethal force is the amount of force likely to cause death or serious injury. That’s why shooting someone in the arm is considered the same as shooting them in the chest. That’s also why a Taser or a punch isn’t lethal force, even though they sometimes cause death.
If you live in a state that demands you let someone sexually molest your wife, but doesnt let you use force to stop him, I suggest that you move.
Me? I’m guessing you dont live in such a state. Im guessing you are actually just the kind of guy who won’t protect anything because you are afraid, and you are using a made up law as a fig leaf to hide your cowardice. While sporting punisher gear and carrying a gun we all know you won’t ever use.

Yeah, yeah the personal insults, whatever…I carry a handgun concealed and no one will know it’s there because I don’t wear punisher stuff or brag about carrying, or start fights. I know that you know firearm and self defense law better than I do…however you CAN follow the law and still find yourself in court. Ask Zimmerman or Rittenouse about that…or Derek Chauvin or the McMichaels brothers.
In this particular case, the husband might find that the prosecutor argues: “Since you are six inches taller than the butt-toucher and outweigh him by 50+ pounds, you should have known your punch was an amount of force likely to cause death or serious injury.”
I hope not, but I’d be interested to see where this case goes (if this happened recently).

it isn’t personal insults, it’s a reflection of the statements you are making. I just don’t think, given your statements here, that you would use force in self defense. That’s between you and your wife. However, if I knew you IRL, I wouldn’t trust you as far as I can throw you. You would be afraid of going to jail, and would dime me out in a second, if it meant saving your own ass. After all, you have an irrational fear of some imagined scenario to excuse not protecting your wife from a sexual assault as an excuse not to defend her. That’s between you and her. I just don’t think you are trustworthy, nor do I think you are worthy of respect.

I missed the first post but will follow up with both answers here.
1, its defending someone. Physically grabbing someone -is- assult and if they felt brazen enough to do that who knows how brazen else they would feel. The punch is 100% justified. Sure you can push someone away but that invites a response in return back and the chance you catch a swing that takes you out. Strike hard and fast after contact is initiated and stop once the target is not fighting back. That’s what happened. I dont feel bad at all for the person assulting the woman. Drunk or not.
2, I’m not sure what will happen with CW2, though I think we are in the start of it already but I do agree there’s a whole lot of people that claim they will go kinetic when they will not. They will find all the excuses they can to not participate. Similar to all the people that said I could not go in the military, that Drill would get in my face and I’d roundhouse his ass!
I do agree that masculinity and men have been emasculated. They either dont realize it yet or are so whipped between the state of the moderen feminized woman mentality and the .gov and HR departments that they just capitulate.

Men become men by overcoming obstacles and taking risks with real consequences. In order for it to mean anything, there have to be consequences to failure. It’s why young adult men go out of their way to engage in risky behavior — there has to be real risk. It’s the classic Joseph Campbell Hero’s Journey. Sometimes it’s fighting in war. Sometimes it’s going down into the mines to provide for a family. Sometimes it’s going out on your own with no backup. Whatever. But it’s something. Unfortunately, that means that some men who do this *will* fail, and they will pay the consequences, sometimes with their lives. But those who do not fail are different.
It used to be that the goal of a father was to make sure that the test meant something — fighting for your country, standing up for your beliefs, defending your wife and kids. Something that made the test worthwhile and the cost of failure worth the price. Now, it’s all changed. The goal is to protect the young man from the quest altogether, and if you can’t protect them from a quest, to make it a quest without consequences, and thus without meaning.
So, today we have two populations of men. One group of men *did* find that challenge and made it through, at least in their own minds. The people who did one quest may not value the challenge of people who did another, but to that person, it was the defining test.
One group of men never found it. They enter late young adulthood and early middle age half-formed. These people, in turn, may continue to search for a quest — I interpret a lot of these Antifa types as men who are desperately trying to make political activism their quest. This is why they are so dangerous. It’s why these half-formed men become assassins. This wispy little game programmer who tried to kill Trump was mostly just trying to fulfill his own perverted made-up quest with, finally, real consequences.
The others attempt to achieve parity by denigrating and denying the success of those who did succeed in their quests. They are not failures because they never did their quest because no quest is worth the effort. They’re the smart ones, in their own minds. But, in fact, they are really hiding from their own sense of failure.
The problem with the West right now is that we never let these young males grow up and become men. We protect them from their maturation, and in doing so deny them what makes a man a man.
Not every young male has to go into the military or become a first responder or work on an oil rig or climb Mt. Everest or whatever. But every young male needs to do *something* of consequence that has real life-defining risk. We’ve robbed them of that because we have become a feminine culture. And a feminine culture concentrates on costs rather than gains.

However, what you are really doing is advocating for a duty to retreat. Your conclusion of what the law says regarding the delivery of a punch is incorrect. Any wife who would disrespect her husband for protecting her deserves a divorce, good and hard.
On the other hand…..taking your wife to an environment such as a pool hall where assholes like that drunk congregate is not the best course of action if you respect HER. So in my opinion, the husband was right to clock the drunk but never should have had her in that joint in the first place. That’s just asking for it.

To be brutally honest, the woman in the video, given proper training, could have at least kicked the drunk right in the nads, and when he went down, given him a 100% force kick in the ribs. Pretty sure the law wouldn’t be filing charges. He’d likely learn a good lesson. Couple of broken ribs and swollen testicles to remember her by.
