Justice Jackson, in a recent dissent, complained that SCOTUS is favoring only rich litigants. That’s especially ironic, considering that she has received $3 million for writing her autobiography. Does anyone really think that the publisher will sell enough copies to pay that? Of course not, this is how payoffs are done:
An investor wants to pay off a high-ranking political figure. They make a deal that, on its face, looks like a legitimate business deal. That’s how the Cattle Futures market worked for the Clintons, it’s how the paintings for Hunter Biden sold for so much, it’s how Chelsea Clinton was being paid $300,000 a year by NBC while she was still in college, and how she had a net worth of $30 million before she was 40 years old.
Both parties are corrupt. They are stealing us blind.

Brandon’s Affirmative Action DEI hire courtesy of comrade Clyburn of South Carolina?
Did she ever figure out what a woman is?

Hmmm… if they were unable to steal our money in the form of taxes they would be unable to misspend it or take it for themselves.

If we want to end this bullshit we can. You know it. I know it. We know what needs to be done. We need to roll up our sleeves and get it done. Yes, it’s messy. Yess, it’s bloody. Yes, it’s unsavory. However, it needs doing.

It would destroy the nation and our lives in the process. That’s why so many hesitate.
As soon as that switch is flipped, you life, and the lives of your family, are over as we know it.
Try explaining to your wife and kids why that needed to be done. That won’t happen until it is more painful to do nothing than it is to flip the switch.

Unfortunately,I believe you are right. My concern, however, is that the longer we wait to rectify the situation the worse things are going to suck. There’s also the problem that we the normal people are only getting weaker, collectively speaking, while the enemy is getting stronger. The best we can likely hope for is that the demise of empire USA is more like that of the Soviet Union than Yugoslavia, but my suspicion is that it will be more of a combination of 1776 and the French Revolution and will probably fail resulting in a bunch of republics that still hate each other.

What if that’s all part of the plan? Making you fear the ‘end of life as we know it’? I mean, sure, yeah, anyone w/ 2 brain cells can logically argue things will be different – DUH! I guess that’s an assumed condition? But what if the fear-mongering, the horror-stories, are propaganda to keep the masses afraid and in-line?
HOW different would things be, and in what ways, and would that different be a bad thing? It benefits the existing powers that be to make you believe life will turn to hell if they’re not in charge of things, does it not? Location likely plays a large role – I’m quite comfortable w/ the idea given my home and location, suburban and urban folks, maybe not so much?
I’m not naive, things will be different, and likely uncomfortable for a period of time during the transition period… but going to the gym the first time is really really hard. Yet we know the goal is worth the temporary pain, and we go to the gym anyways…
We KNOW our government is… not working for us? The pain of tearing this one down and making a new one will be great. But the grass on the other side may actually be quite a bit greener (or not). However I can’t help but notice the people that make their living off the grass you’re standing on now, says ‘no, that will be terrible’… Umm, yeah, for you and yours that have been grifting us for decades!
Truthfully I agree with you – nothing will change until it becomes much more uncomfortable for the masses, but I can’t but help notice that the opinion you’ve expressed benefits one side in the debate, and hamstrings the other. It’s just an observation.
I always question those situations. It doesn’t mean you’re wrong in your conclusion, I said I agree with you, however I can’t but help note: qui bono…

I don’t deny that both parties are corrupt, but you list only democrat examples. Certainly, more, many more, democrat examples come to my own mind than republican ones.
Divemedic · September 3, 2025 at 6:00 am
You can refer to nearly any media outlet for plenty of examples of Republican shenanigans. There are also examples posted on this very blog. Here are a few examples:
Republicans busted hiring illegals
Republicans flip and certify the 2020 election
Ted Cruz flips and votes in favor of red flag law

Remember the incredibly generous advance Barack Obama received for one of his books, and how that publisher was awarded the contract to print the common core textbooks?
Coincidence or nah?
