What do you know, as of today, I am a board certified Nurse Manager. This is in support of my goal to move on from direct patient care, and get a job that is away from what has, to me, become a dead end job with no chance of promotion.
This latest certification is my first management certification and is in addition to my 3 other board certifications, although those three are purely clinical.
Sooner or later, I will have so many qualifications, I will be out of here. Now to begin working on the next one…

Here’s to hoping you get the job you deserve. My guess is that when you have all the certs you need, prepare to change jobs fast. Happened to me when I earned my Chief Engineer Unlimited. Thought I’d kick back for a month or 2 when doing a job search. That lasted less than a week as I had 4 solid offers. And yes, I took the one that paid the most.

Congratulations! The NM at the hospital where I volunteer in the surgical unit keeps really busy. I hope you can work your way into a position that benefits from your experience and allows you to have a good working relationship with the RNs and aides.

Congrats! One cert I didn’t want, I achieved my Charge nurse and besides my clinical certs and I was happy with that. I didn’t want to enter management level as I kinda a rebel and I knew once I hit that level of Pokémon I could easily have been shown the door. Beside, I was interested in doctorate in Applied Clinical Research(Medicine) and was accepted in a program at Southwestern University in Texas when I was diagnosed with MS.

Good on Ya DM!
NOW is the time to crush your enemies at work, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation(s) of the LPNs/RNs
B/C F*ck them people!

Conan vs HR shadow banning.
Aside from that I don’t recall DM having much beef with his peers (aside the typically lazy ones) but management requiring training but not willing to pay for it.
Were there still dregs in your enemy’s skull when you posted this?
