Going back to the DSA manifesto I posted about the other day: I want to talk about the changes to our Constitution that the Democrat party wants to enact. I don’t want to talk about the socialist “give me free shit” they always use to entice the useful idiots, because that’s the same old stuff they have been pushing for a decade. No, its their desired changes to our government that scare me. All quotes taken directly from the new DSA website.

  • Replace the President and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress.

This is the scariest of the proposals. Making the supreme court and the executive subordinate to Congress would require that we either rewrite or completely ignore the Constitution. We would go from three co-equal branches of government to a politburo that can literally do whatever it wants. There are absolutely no checks or balances to this system.

  • Replace the two-party system with a multi-party democracy.
  • Expand the House of Representatives, implement proportional representation and ranked choice voting in all elections, and abolish the Senate.

Expanding the House and eliminating the Senate was already partially done when we switched to the direct election of Senators, but doing it the way that the DSA wants to do it would take us from a bicameral legislature.

The framers of the Constitution designed a bicameral system during the 1787 Constitutional Convention to achieve three primary goals:

  • Checks and Balances: Dividing legislative power to ensure that no single house can dominate the government. All bills must be passed by both chambers in identical form before becoming law.
  • Fair Representation: The system, born out of the Connecticut Compromise, balances the interests of highly populated states (represented proportionally in the House) with smaller states (given equal representation in the Senate). This is also why they want to get rid of the electoral college.
  • Deliberation: The requirement of a “concurrent majority” promotes thorough debate and prevents hasty, emotionally driven legislation.

The next thing they want is: Establish public ownership of the largest corporations and essential industries to ensure democratic control and accountability to the people. What they mean is that their new expanded House will have control.

Of course, they can’t simply hand that much power over to a potential Trump, so they need to make sure this absolute power lies only in their hands. To that end, they are going to:

  • Legalize migration,
  • grant amnesty for all immigrants regardless of status,
  • provide a path to citizenship for all permanent residents,
  • end visa caps and quotas.
  • Extend full voting rights to all permanent U.S. residents
  • restore the right to vote for incarcerated people and people with criminal convictions.

This is full on communism. There is no other way to put it. It’s coming, and I have been warning of this since 2020. I have already heard people telling me “that will never happen. They will never get the votes.”

The fact is, most people vote party, or likeability, race, or some other factor. Most voters don’t understand or keep up with the issues. They want sound bites, and the Democrat party is promising them free shit. That’s why the socialists are slowing taking over the Democratic party, which is moving more and more to the left with every passing day. Hundreds of socialists are in political office all over the nation. They are making far more inroads to power than are the Libertarians. Even St Petersburg, Florida has a socialist in office, and more coming, as they run as Democrats.

In all, 28 socialist candidates have won Democratic primaries this cycle. NYC has an openly communist mayor, and is about to get two communist congressional representatives. Wisconsin is likely to get a communist governor this election cycle. The entire country is shifting to communism.

There are two outcomes, well, three:

  • Civil War
  • Communist dictatorship
  • Both

Make fun of me, refuse to believe me, whatever. It’s coming.

Fucked. We’re fucked, that is all you need to know.
After much thought and conjecture (on a variety of topics we throw about here and in other corners of the internet, and local barns and brewpubs), you need to be out in the country in a red state and be prepared to provide for yourself/kith/kin, and defend said same and property from both civilian and police threats.
Cities WILL become hell holes, but that is also where everything will be centralized (15-min cities plan activated, nice regional hospital ya got there, would be a shame if it closed). Digital ID/Biometrics/Facial Recognition/RealID/MarkOfTheBeast is coming folks, mentally prepare for the choice, it will be very very hard. Remember the vaxxx and entry to grocery stores and normal life? That’s what’s coming. You take the government ID/mark and get access to the goods, or you are outside the system, persona non-grata. They don’t need to exterminate us, just cut us off from what we need, and when we fight to get it back, then they can kill us because they’re defending themselves.
We aren’t a free people, the net is in place already folks. What we’re seeing/experiencing is the net closing.

You are correct. The only way the March to communism stops is with violence. The masses are not ready and are too comfortable for that.

I cringe whenever I hear our folks yelling “Trump’s gotta DO this or that” in clearly a “Strong Man” manner.

All powers granted to a “Strong Man” today becomes part of the NEXT “Strong Man’s” arsenal.

And Historically American’s often vote Right this time and them blame them for serious economic issues (looking at Great Depression Hoover here) and then VOTE in a Known previously Unelectable socialist like FDR for what 4 TERMS.

You know force Americans to turn in their REAL MONEY Gold for paper @ 20.67 ounce then reevaluating it @ 35 dollars and ounce giving citizen a serious haircut in the “cash” they were forced to exchange for it.

Free shit sells. Promises given and ignored is just socialism-politics.

We be in trouble folks.

Commies arent winning, stupid people ARE’NT voting…all of the elections so far have a 8-14% voter participation….

    Divemedic · July 17, 2026 at 7:58 am

The end result is that commies are going to get in office, just like AOC, Omar, and Mamdani. They are getting there because they received a majority of those who voted. Does it matter that only 10% of voters bothered to show up? The result is the same. They won, and the Democrat party slips further to the left.

The ones who vote in midterm primaries are the hardcore leftists. Then the main election comes around- that’s when people elect AOC because they think she is hot, because she is Hispanic, or maybe they just want free shit. There are plenty of people out there who don’t follow politics, and many others who only follow what NBC or some late night talk show host tells them. Those are the people who vote against Republicans because they are racist NAZIs who want to make women into slaves, kill black people, and turn us into a fascist dictatorship.

Years ago, when I was in graduate school the first time, I had a professor who once used an entire 2 hour lecture telling us how AIDS was invented by Ronald Reagan and the Republicans, so they could kill Democrats, women, and gays. You can read about that here.

Our country was founded on completely opposite principles than the DSA wants. They want control of everything and it’s obvious everywhere you look. If high school grads never heard of what the founders really wanted, it’s as good as gone from history.

This is another advantage of owning the teachers’ unions and therefore the public education. Talk about gender and crap instead of real history, real math, real science – such that you get morons like the head of the University of California San Francisco refusing to say only women can get pregnant. (Yesterday? Day before?) You get college students who can’t read, or can’t do junior high school math.

It’s kind of ironic that in the last month we’ve been bombarded with stories of foreigners coming here for the soccer, finding the country was nothing like they heard we are and falling in love with it, while at the same time the DSA is trying to destroy the country and winning elections.

Your basic premise can be summed concisely,

A culture too stupid to survive won’t.

> Replace the two-party system with a multi-party democracy.

How about we just pass out Bowie knives to Congress and let them fight for the bills that are important to them?

Heck, my state legislators used to get out their knives when their tempers got high. In 1837 the Speaker of the House stabbed an assemblyman to death in a dispute over that turned out to be some shady real estate dealing.

“…I think that would be a good start…”

Take off those rose-colored glasses, DM. It’s a whole lot worse than you are letting on.

The original intent was not three co-equals, though. They designed the vast majority of what little power the central government had to be vested in Congress. Before the Judicial Act of 1789 and the Marshall court, the judicial branch was almost powerless. The Executive wasn’t much stronger, as he could only do what Congress authorized and funded. Very little else other than act as CiC, issue pardons, and negotiate treaties and conduct other foreign policy.

The reason it is so much worse than you think is that a solid majority are either uninterested in thinking through the consequences, or more likely, unable to. A 100 IQ populace might be sufficient for concerns of a small agrarian community, but wholly inappropriate for anything more complicated than, say, 18th century medicine.

    Divemedic · July 17, 2026 at 9:36 am

The original intent (before Marbury v. Madison) was three coequals, but they were: The states (Senate), the people (House), and the Executive. I think it is important to note that the executive’s power was in being the head of the military. Congress can pass laws, but the President can refuse to enforce them. This power was counterbalanced by the impeachment power. Balance.

Marbury v Madison added what is essentially a fourth branch.

Then the state was removed from the equation in a defacto manner (thanks, Lincoln) and in a real manner (17th Amendment), again bringing us to the three branches. That’s why I laugh when people bitch about Graham’s sister being named to replace him. That’s actually how the original nation was supposed to be.

The ultimate balance and veto was added by Virginia in the Second Amendment.

      Steve · July 17, 2026 at 6:36 pm

I guess I could see clear to the senate being one of the three, but only to the very limited extent of the enumerated powers. (Leaving aside Jefferson’s argument that the Constitution’s taxing clause granted plenary powers. Though turns out he was right.)

Like the 10th Amendment says, and the Kentucky and Virginia Resolves affirmed, the several States were to remain sovereign in all matters with the exception of the delegated and denied powers. But, yeah, thanks a whole heck of a lot, Marshall and Lincoln. And Madison, for refusing to heed Jefferson’s warning.

        Divemedic · July 17, 2026 at 8:13 pm

The Senate wasn’t the only power the states possessed. Another big one was the lack of a standing army forcing the President to ask the states for troops.

Buy more ammo….a lot more.

Treefarmer · July 17, 2026 at 10:39 am

It’s a Hobson’s choice. All options are the same: bad. I would choose civil war over communist dictatorship.

Danny · July 17, 2026 at 6:14 pm

It’s not disbelieving the assertion, it’s really more that I don’t assume anything. I think making assumptions is an error. Not that we shouldn’t plan for possible outcomes, but a lot can happen to alter the landscape.

Stealth Spaniel · July 17, 2026 at 10:15 pm

I think it ends in Civil War 2. This time it will be uglier. I think the UK gets there 1 year before we do.

Unknownsailor · July 17, 2026 at 11:35 pm

Stop arguing about the Constitution. That is behind us now. The millions of third world invaders that are here, now, DO NOT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT IT.

We can have that debate once all of them are gone.

And stop thinking moving out into rural areas will let you escape what is coming. All that does is make you and your family an easy target. They will come out of the cities and destroy you, because communism allows for no dissent. It can’t. Anyone who can act outside that system instantly blows up the entire thing.

We need to be tribing up, gathering intel, learning skills, and hoarding supplies. Get out of blue states, and group up with like minded people. The lone wolf gets skinned.

People are policy, and if the DSA gets into power such that they start to enact their platform, they cannot implement their policies on their own. They are going to need local agents to do it, and those local agents live in your area. Without them, the DSA will be powerless.

Those of you stuck in blue states, you need to have your own personal accountability list for your local area. Women studies professors, county Democrat party officials, local activists, big money donors to the DNC (and associated PACs,) you need to know who all these people are, where they live, where they work, and know the terrain for all of this, and you need to know this yesterday.

There are far more of us than there are of them, and the only thing that will let them win is us sitting on our ass, atomized and alone, angrily pounding on our keyboards.
