This is why I don’t want to

I saw this post today over at Wirecutter’s about the government demanding the identifying information of people who post things critical of the government/FBI/cops. Wirecutter said:

Yeah, keep that in mind next time you leave a comment on a blog about killing feds.

I can guarantee you that this will extend to blogs and different blogging hosts will fall all over themselves to turn over information about people leaving threats, even if they are just venting.

That is the exact reason why I don’t want people who post comments here to have to register. I don’t collect information on anyone who posts here. I don’t want to know who you are. I can’t be forced to turn over information that I don’t possess.

With that being said, making threats is just a good way to be on the radar. My advice to anyone who is opposed to what is happening is this: be the gray man. Don’t be on the radar.

Energy Prices Still Climbing

Natural gas prices were $2.50 per million BTUs when Joe Biden took office. Today, natural gas hit $10 per million BTUs. In Europe, it’s even worse- an incredible $79 per million BTUs, mostly because wind power in Europe is significantly underproducing.

If there is any economic indicator that has improved since Biden took office, I can’t find it.

Oil Reserves Update

Just less than a month ago, I warned that the strategic oil reserve was being destroyed by the Biden administration in a bid to force down gasoline and energy prices ahead of the midterm elections, and that the Biden family was personally profiting from the sale of our national reserves. The reserve is now down to 460,000 barrels.

Oil is selling at $100 per barrel as I type this, and gas prices are averaging $3.89 per gallon.

Just a week ago, Goldman Sachs was forecasting oil prices of $130 per barrel and gas prices of more than $5 per gallon by year’s end. These are the levels “at which we need to see sustained prices to eventually solve the market deficit,” said the company spokesman. Translated: prices for everything will be so high that demand will begin to drop off.

Except that isn’t where Sachs is stopping with their forecast. They are now forecasting that oil prices will continue to drop through the election, with a gradual rise to $125 per barrel by next summer. I wonder how accurate that will be, since 2020 saw them forecasting 2022’s oil prices to be $55 a barrel.

Hollow Shell

Now the special warfare community is falling to this woke nonsense. The Navy SEALS are reporting that they spend more time on diversity training than they do on actual combat training.

And we only have X amount of hours in the day. And so you have a two hour training block. It’s not two hours — you’ve got to add half an hour ahead or half an hour after. So you’re looking at really three hours. So three hours is what, 600 hours? Just do the math on that, and then multiply that across the entire Department of Defense.

Retired Navy SEAL Derrick Van Orden

I’ve been saying for awhile that our military is rotting from the inside out and from the top down.

It has me wondering. What if the so-called nuclear secrets possessed by Trump were reports that things have gotten just as bad in some part of our strategic forces? It isn’t as if the Air Force hasn’t already alluded to the fact that they can’t maintain a nuclear ground alert force. The Air Force only has 66 nuclear bombers remaining, out of the more than 600 that were once available for nuclear alert.

Graft, greed, and corruption form those who nominally serve have gutted the picked over carcass of what was once the greatest nation the world had ever seen. That nation doesn’t exist any longer.

Wow

I bet Canadians feel safe now.

Canada has also announced a mandatory gun confiscation. People who turn in guns will get money.

  • Turning in a Sig SG550 will get you $6200 Canadian. SG550s aren’t legally available at any price in the US.
  • An AR 15 will fetch $1337 Canadian ($1025 USD)

They claim that this is ‘fair compensation’ for weapons, even though this is likely anything but fair. It isn’t like you can refuse. An amnesty is in place until Oct. 30, 2023, after which you go to jail if you don’t take the deal.

Guess the Race of the Criminals

Local news in Central Florida brings us a report of a Florida college student who was murdered. The victim and his girlfriend were driving through Alabama when they were flagged down by a woman who asked the couple if they could give her some assistance to help get her car started.

The woman pulled out a gun and, along with another female accomplice, attempted to force the couple into the woods. At gunpoint, the robber demanded the victims’ bank account numbers. The victim produced a legally carried handgun. In the ensuing gunfight, the victim was killed and the robber was seriously injured. The accomplice and a small child were apprehended in a homeless camp a half a mile away.

Note that the criminal’s name was given, but there is no description or picture of the criminals, but there ARE pictures of the victims. Not in this article, either.

That made me suspicious as to the race of the criminals. Normally, when there is no mention of race, no description, and no picture of a criminal, the criminal is black.

After a ten minute search of a dozen or so news articles, it turns out I was correct.

It turns out to be the case time and time again.

I Can’t Even

Look at this from the CDC. (emphasis added by me)

Even if you feel well, here are some ways to reduce your chances of being exposed to monkeypox if you are sexually active:

  • Take a temporary break from activities that increase exposure to monkeypox until you are two weeks after your second dose. This will greatly reduce your risk.
  • Limit your number of sex partners to reduce your likelihood of exposure.
  • Spaces like back rooms, saunas, sex clubs, or private and public sex parties, where intimate, often anonymous sexual contact with multiple partners occurs—are more likely to spread monkeypox.
  • Condoms (latex or polyurethane) may protect your anus (butthole), mouth, penis, or vagina from exposure to monkeypox. However, condoms alone may not prevent all exposures to monkeypox since the rash can occur on other parts of the body.
  • Gloves (latex, polyurethane, or nitrile) might also reduce the possibility of exposure if inserting fingers or hands into the vagina or the anus. The gloves must cover all exposed skin and be removed carefully to avoid touching the outer surface.
  • Avoid kissing or exchanging spit since monkeypox can spread this way.
  • Masturbate together at a distance without touching each other and without touching any rash.
  • Have virtual sex with no in-person contact.
  • Consider having sex with your clothes on or covering areas where rash is present, reducing as much skin-to-skin contact as possible. Leather or latex gear also provides a barrier to skin-to-skin contact; just be sure to change or clean clothes/gear between partners and after use.
  • Be aware that monkeypox can also spread through respiratory secretions with close, face-to-face contact.
  • Remember to wash your hands, fetish gear, sex toys, and any fabrics (bedding, towels, clothes) after having sex. Learn more about infection control.

How about this- just don’t go to a bath house and fuck dozens of guys that you don’t even know in the ass? Or let them do the same to you?

ATF

The ATF needs two weeks to complete a gun trace. That, according to NBC, is just insanity. The ATF likes to blame this on the fact that they are not permitted to keep a registry of where all of the guns are. Any of us in the gun culture know that this is bullshit. How do we know?

The NFTR is a database of all NFA weapons: short barreled rifles and shotguns, machine guns, silencers, and AOWs. In short, a database that is supposed to be kept by the ATF of where every registered weapon in those categories is located. Dealers in those weapons are regularly inspected. ATF’s own inspectors reported to the Office of the Inspector General that 86 percent of the time, they find errors in the ATF database.

Of course, the point of the NBC article is that we must establish a nationwide firearm registry so we can make everyone safe. Did you know that last year, nearly 20,000 ghost guns were confiscated in criminal investigations around the country, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives? This sounds serious, right?

Except it’s misleading at best, outright bullshit at worst. ATF is including ALL weapons without serial numbers in its definition of “ghost gun” in order to make the problem sound worse than it is. Even so, the ATF traces half a million firearms every year. So the number of “ghost guns” being traced by ATF represents less than 4 percent of the total number of firearms being traced.

To make the article even more dishonest, CBS includes this picture of a confiscated firearm:

Ghost gun or not, this firearm is already illegal. It is a picture of what is either an SBR or an AOW. If you don’t know why I say that the ATF rules are arbitrary and stupid? Read this post.

Even when you DO comply with the law, the ATF will go to extraordinary lengths to put you away. There was a case where the ATF took a legal semiauto rifle, cut the welded FCG out of the rifle, and then replaced the entire FCG with a full auto FCG, which permitted the technician to fire it in full auto. They then prosecuted him for possession of an unregistered machine gun. The jury was not having it, and he was found not guilty. Imagine how much THAT cost in legal fees.
