Honor Student

Seventeen year old Austin was the MVP of his high school football team. He had a 4.0 GPA. He and his twin brother were two popular students at their Texas high school. In fact, Austin had recently returned from a hunting trip with his dad, where he had bagged his first hog. As a high school junior, he was already receiving college scholarship offers. He had a bright future ahead of him.

All of that changed on Wednesday night when he was robbed of that future. Most news reports simply say that he got into “an altercation” with another teenager and got stabbed. That account leaves out some key facts. Here is what happened:

Austin and his classmates were attending a track meet at 10am on Wednesday when Austin told someone who was sitting in the stands that seating was organized by school, and that he was sitting in the wrong section. The 17 year old who was seated in the wrong seat apparently though that it was a serious transgression for someone to point out that he was sitting in the wrong seat, because he pulled out a knife and stabbed Austin in the heart.

Austin died in his twin brother’s arms.

His murderer? We all know what you are about to see, but here he is.

There is almost no information out there about this killer. I am betting that its because his record has been sealed. Someone who comes to school armed with a knife and stabs another after being told they are in the wrong seat isn’t a trouble free honor student. Our schools are dangerous places where little education takes place. We as a society like to pretend that everyone can live together in harmony, but that is demonstrated to be false nearly every day.

Whenever a black person gets shot while being arrested by the cops, we always hear about how he was a troubled teen who was turning his life around, but it’s all bullshit. The facts are what they are- more than half of all murders and violent crime are carried out by one demographic. In this case, a so-called troubled teen killed an actual honor student, someone who actually DID have his life in order, and HAD a bright future.

Had a white kid killed a black kid, it would be the lead story for every major news outlet. It isn’t news when a black kid kills a white one, because it happens so often that it just isn’t news.

No One is Coming to Save You

The Supreme Court recently upheld a Biden era ATF rule that requires serial numbers, background checks and a dealer to transfer their “buy, build, shoot” kits- ruling that selling a kit that could readily be turned into a firearm is the same thing as actually selling a firearm. This decision is going to put Polymer80 out of business. You can read the actual decision here (pdf alert, hosted offsite). It’s a major defeat for liberty, and a bellwether of things to come from this court. The only two justices who dissented were Thomas and Alito. Now you know why the left wants Alito gone.

The decision for now is narrowly targeted at the Polymer80 kit, which came with the unfinished frame, the jig, and the tools needed to convert the parts into a firearm. The court’s majority specifically said that this applies only to parts sold as a complete kit, so for now 80% frames and receivers from makers like 80% Arms are completely legal, but you can expect that to be dealt with in later courts.

I have said for awhile that Trump’s best attribute was his SCOTUS picks. Now that it appears that those picks and Congress have again turned their backs on the 2A crowd (as Republicans always seem to do, once they have the pro-2A vote in their pocket), the only difference between the two parties is the speed with which we are headed off the cliff. No matter what Trump does, he can’t overcome the inertia of the uniparty.

You can read the informational post from 80% Arms here. The reason that 80% is getting away with this, is that they are not selling the jigs or tools needed to finish their lowers. They are continuing to sell 80% AR lowers and 76% Glock lowers, even though the Glock lowers are sold out.

As I have pointed out time and again on this blog, no one is coming to save you, and there is no voting your way out of this. We are too far down the path to totalitarianism. SCOTUS is not going to be a big friend to the gun community, and this Trump administration is a mere speed bump on the way to tyranny. At this point, we are looking at a pretty bleak future for the country. The median income in the US is just shy of $40,000 a year- but those who make less than $40k don’t pay any income taxes, once you factor in refundable tax credits. Those who make less than $25k don’t pay any taxes of any kind. Those who vote for a living are out voting those who work for a living. There is no coming back from that.

What that means is that the Democrats are promising free shit to the poor while simultaneously using those votes to slowly enact a tyranny. That’s why they want you disarmed. So here is my advice- do one of the following:

Buy a 3D printer. The left is already making it a felony to use a 3D printer to make firearms, and a misdemeanor to exchange the files needed to do so. They are also pressuring the makers of 3D printers to encode blocks on the printers making it impossible to make firearms or firearm parts. If you have a 3D printer, I would make sure that firmware or software updates don’t happen automatically, or you may find that your 3D printer gets neutered. You can find a guide for making your own receivers here.

Or you can buy a Ghost Gunner for about $2500 that will allow you to make AR receivers from plain aluminum blocks, as well as do all sorts of metalworking like cutting slides for red dot sights.

I am planning on buying one or the other this summer, once my current projects come to a conclusion. I am nearing completion of my 300 Blackout project. Once that is done, I will put a deposit on a Ghost Gunner 3 or buy a 3D printer.

Civil Matter

Yesterday, we saw a story about cops refusing to get involved when a crime was committed. The list of cops claiming that they can’t get involved in a “civil matter” rears its head again.

In this case, the police refused to get involved when a teacher and her wife were housing a teen who either ran away or was enticed to leave the house after she argued with her mother in December. They mother located the child, who was 17 at the time, at the home of the child’s teacher. The police were called on January 5. The police refused to return the child to her parent’s custody. The police refused to get involved, saying that the child was not in distress and could not be compelled to leave the premises. The point is a moot one now, as the child turned 18 on March 25.

In a video produced by the Colorado Parent Advocacy Network, Stein [the child’s mother] said she believes “Joann Smotherman [the teacher] is responsible for my broken daughter thinking that all of her problems are because she’s truly a boy.”

This is why these faggots want access to your kids- they are being groomed to become the sexual playthings of these crazy trannies. The police are saying that anyone can interfere with parental custody and that isn’t a crime in Colorado, as long as the kid enjoys it.

JoAnn Smotherman, in a brief interview, said she met the teen while teaching. In a statement, the couple said the teen had fled a “dangerous environment” and reached out to supportive networks.

“This was not about his gender,” the Smothermans wrote. “It was about compassion. It was about protecting a vulnerable young person when no one else would. We did not seek him out. We did not groom him. We offered safety, food, and support while he found his footing and began building a life on his own terms. That is not a crime. That is what decent people do.”

That is exactly what grooming is. You convinced this impressionable child that she was actually a boy, turned her against her mother, and then convinced her to come live with you.

There comes a point where there will be a price to be paid. If the police can’t protect children, the parents will have to. I know that I will never be on a jury for a case like this, if for no other reason than the existence of this blog, but I I ever was, I will never vote to convict anyone who uses force to rescue their child from one of these monsters.

With the police not doing anything, despite the fact that this teacher kidnapped a child, I am afraid that we will have to add Durango to Zone 2, political violence that is being sanctioned by government officials.

Plumbers

A plumber is called out for a clogged drain. The plumber clears it and charges $235. Three days later, the clog returned. Since it was a weekend, the plumber charged $390. The restaurant questioned the plumber about the quality of his work.

The next day, the plumber returned and clogged the pipe with an inflatable plug and sent them a message that they had an hour to pay him or he was going on vacation and they would be screwed until he got back.

That isn’t how business is done. You don’t get to enter my property uninvited to sabotage my business over a billing dispute. The cops, useless as usual, claimed it was a civil matter and refused to get involved.

At that point, i would have gone outside and beat me some plumber ass. If vandalizing my plumbing is a civil matter and not a crime that the police will do anything about, then you have to do a self help solution.

My advice to the restaurant is get a new plumber.

Leftist Violence

A couple of events this week show how the left communists are still engaged in violent warfare against everyone who doesn’t agree with them.

In the first case, we have a tranny who attacked students on campus at UT Dallas by swinging a bike lock on the end of a cable, striking a young woman in the head. That’s right- a crazed man committed an armed battery on a young lady, whose only crime was daring to speak out for women’s rights. The worst part? It isn’t the first violent attack carried out by this man.

This attack was a deadly force incident. Swinging objects like skateboards, bike locks, or clubs are going to get a lethal response from me.

The second case also occurred on a college campus- this time in UNC Asheville. A table of pro-life students were attacked by a leftist student who screamed “I fucking hate you!” While accusing them of being fascists.

The student was identified as Adrian Miguelez, a candidate for student council.

The leftists keep up with their campaign of violence. I won’t be a victim, and this is why I am armed.

But It’s Free

One thing that I hear all of the time from patients and even fellow heath care workers is how the US health care system is broken because it is expensive, yet my fellow workers all say that we are underpaid for what we do.

Medical care is a finite resource. Therefore, you cannot give everyone all of the care that they desire or need. There has to be a way to ration care. In the US, we do that through cost. If you want more or better care, you pay more for it. In many other countries, the oes with so-called “free care,” they ration it by allowing government officials to decide who gets care when. That’s how a woman in the UK with a mass on her ovaries is forced to wait 9 months to have it removed, only to discover that it has become cancerous, which results in a complete hysterectomy and a long course of chemotherapy.

Heath care isn’t cheap, especially when you demand that the people performing it have to be flawless in its execution. Everyone involved in the delivery of care from the janitor, to the nurse, the technicians, and the doctor have to have high levels of training. That raises costs. Starting nurses are making $75k a year in my area, and yet there is still a shortage. With 5 or more years’ experience, nurses in certain specialties are making more than $100k. Florida has pushed a lot of people to go to nursing school and even subsidized people in attending school, yet all this has accomplished is to increase the failure rate of the nursing exam.

Pay is set by market forces- employers pay for good employees. When demand is higher than supply, market forces cause a bidding war for the product- in this case, nurses and other highly skilled workers, which causes pay to rise. We are seeing that here in Florida, and have been since COVID. Nurse pay is rapidly increasing. My employer recently announced a 20% increase in shift differentials and a 5% raise in base pay for nurses.

Your only other choices are:

  • Lower standards. This will allow you to pay less, and also allow the hiring of more workers, albeit at a lower skill level. The cost is more accidents and medical mistakes.
  • Ration care through waiting lists. This is the path that many nations like Canada and the UK have followed. The cost here is people dying while on the waiting list.

There is no such thing as a free lunch. There is a bill to be paid, the only question is how it will be paid. No matter what, someone is going to pay these workers. The patient can pay for healthcare at the point of sale, or everyone can pay for it when it is deducted from your paycheck, but we are going to pay for it regardless.

Grift

Emily Brown is a government contractor. For the past 18 years, she has made a living working part time, billing the government $3700 a month. For 2025, she had three contracts lined up that would have totaled $63,000. What does she do for them?

Her contracts have her traveling to Albania and Ghana to “conduct research on the barriers that girls, women, persons with disabilities, and others face in accessing secondary education in Timor Leste and Gambia.” In other words, she was performing bullshit make-work.

We have entire school districts here in the US where not one student demonstrates reading comprehension. Reading comprehension and literacy in the US is at an all time low. There is no need to go to other countries to study that phenomenon.

This entire article is supposed to make us feel sorry for her and angry at Trump for putting a stop to the wasted tax dollars like this. This is what I voted for, to stop this stupid bullshit.

Liars

I read this story about a former firefighter in the Keys who has been accused of making bombs. The cops found him with what they called an unregistered short barreled rifle. I don’t trust cops to know a machine gun from a shoestring, so there is that. Maybe it was a pistol AR with a brace. Because they could see part of the rifle in his backseat, they arrested him for open carry. So much for the incidental exposure part of the law, eh?

They used the short barreled rifle as an example of a threat to the public to get a red flag order, which they they used to get a search warrant for his house. Inside, they found “dozens of firearms” and more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition. They also claim to have found bombmaking materials.

This sort of breathless fearmongering sets off my bullshit detector. We all know the ATF lies to make headlines. Read about this Navy guy who got 20 years for possessing unregistered NFA items when the ATF was able to replace the firing mechanism for some replica devices with the firing mechanism from real devices, which enabled them to fire them.

Now ask yourself if someone could take all of the items in your house and spin a tale of you being a danger to society. Do you have lamp timers? Pipe? Gunpowder? Fertilizer? Constructive possession, in the eyes of the ATF.

Teens

A pair of 19 year old high school freshmen – read that again- 19 year old high school freshmen decided that they didn’t like something that their teacher told them and decided to ambush and beat him.

It happened in Broward county, which is one of the most left leaning counties in Florida, the site of a lot of election shenanigans. Of course it was the usual suspects, Amish Norwegian teens, in a Democrat stronghold, demonstrating that you can’t stop certain demographics from doing what they do.

When his defense attempted to ask for a reduced bond because McClover was on track to graduate and his mother would be unable to afford his bond, the judge had some harsh words.

“Counsel, he and another individual, without any provocation, walked up and started punching a teacher in the face, beating him,” the judge said. “He’s a danger to the community. $15,000 bond. Have a good day.”
