Slander, ratings, and dead people= profits
The prosecutors in the Zimmerman case have decided to go out and accuse George Zimmerman of being a ‘lucky murderer,’ despite the fact that he was found not guilty.
The press continues to push this case and inflame racial tension. Why is that? The answer is simple: the more people who are killed, the more ratings increase, and the more profits are made.

Aftermath
Now that all is said and done, I am reflecting on the lessons of the Zimmerman trial. What can we as citizens take from this tragedy:
1 Stay away from neighborhood watch. All it got GZ was bankruptcy, a life of looking over his shoulder, near death, and an 18 month long fight for his freedom. Against what benefit? The HOA had to shell out more than $1 million to the Martins in a lawsuit. I submit that every home in that place being burglarized once a month for a year would have cost the homeowners of the community less money. In short, a community watch exposes your neighborhood to significant liability with no real benefit. After all, the only thing that a watch can do is phone police if you see a suspicious person, and you can do that without the liability of having a watch.
2 Mind your own business. If you see a suspicious person, and he is not threatening you, a member of your household, or your property, leave it alone- especially if the person is of a different race than you are. If you call, the police will only use your call against you as proof that you are a racist, a cop wannabe, or something, in the event that you ever have to defend yourself.
3 Stay away from people that are not of your race. Avoid them at all costs, even going so far as to cross the street when they approach. The reason for this is to avoid, to the greatest extent possible, any risk of having to protect yourself from a person of a different race and being called a racist for not allowing them to kill you.
4 Video cameras. Install them outside of your home and in your car. Minimize the chance that an attack will result in your statement being the only evidence.
5 If you DO have to shoot someone, tell the cops that you felt threatened, shot the person threatening you in self defense, and that you want to wait for your attorney before making any other statements. Use your phone to call a trusted friend or relative that has instructions on what to do in the event of this call. Make sure they have the number for an attorney. Then SHUT UP. Anything you can say now, you can say in an hour with your attorney present. If it will prove your innocence now, it will prove it in an hour.

Garbage passing as education
Do you want to know why college degrees are now worthless? This is what passes for education now: A paper written by the associate director of the Wellesley Collage Center for Research on Women, Peggy McIntosh. The title of the paper is: White Privilege and Male Privilege: A Personal Account of Coming To See Correspondences through Work in Women’s Studies.
An excerpt:
Thinking through unacknowledged male privilege as a phenomenon, I realized
that, since hierarchies in our society are interlocking, there is most likely
a phenomenon of white privilege that was similarly denied and protected.
As a white person, I realized I had been taught about racism as something
that puts others at a disadvantage, but had been taught not to see one of
its corollary aspects, white privilege, which puts me at an advantage.
This is the stuff that people in Women’s Studies majors are learning. This is what the “Justice for Trayvon” people are quoting as their argument. Welcome to the crazy years.

It continues
Outraged that they are portrayed as criminals, the black community is busy proving them wrong by tweeting death threats, and rioting in Oakland. Aided by a press that is busy counting the profits that will be made from reporting the civil unrest, the NAACP calls for violating Zimmerman’s constitutional protection against double jeopardy. This is far from over.

Where does Zimmerman go from here?
Here is the applicable law in Florida:
776.032 Immunity from criminal prosecution and civil action for justifiable use of force.
(1) A person who uses force as permitted in s. 776.012, s. 776.013, or s. 776.031
is justified in using such force and is immune from criminal
prosecution and civil action for the use of such force, unless the
person against whom force was used is a law enforcement officer, as
defined in s. 943.10(14), who was acting in the performance of his or
her official duties and the officer identified himself or herself in
accordance with any applicable law or the person using force knew or
reasonably should have known that the person was a law enforcement
officer. As used in this subsection, the term “criminal prosecution”
includes arresting, detaining in custody, and charging or prosecuting
the defendant.
So sure, the Martins can sue Zimmerman, but the dirty tricks of suppressing discovery have alreadt been used, so the Zimmerman team will be better prepared. Then, there is the rest of the law:
(3) The court shall award reasonable attorney’s fees, court costs,
compensation for loss of income, and all expenses incurred by the
defendant in defense of any civil action brought by a plaintiff if the
court finds that the defendant is immune from prosecution as provided in
subsection (1).
So, if they try it, they will be suing a person who has no money, having spent it all in defense of his criminal trial. If they win, they get nothing. If they lose, they get to pay Zimmerman’s legal costs.

Rebellion? No, a massacre
The New Black Panthers Party has threatened “unrest all over America” if George Zimmerman is acquitted. New Black Panthers leader Samir Shabazz reportedly stated (unconfirmed):
“This time we’re doing it right… This time we’re not burning
down our communities. This time we’re going out to Whitey’s suburbs and
burning down HIS community. We’re going to make Whitey feel the pain.”
The group used Twitter to say:
“For the record whatever God moves Black People to do after the verdict, it can never be called a riot – it’s a rebellion,”
This will be a VERY expensive lesson, at least in this state. The National Guard is reportedly on alert, the cops are on alert, and there are a WHOLE lot of guns hereabouts.

Injustice
The state of Florida had information that was exculpatory to George Zimmerman, but withheld that information in violation of the law. An IT professional blew the whistle. That IT guy got fired, while the Special Prosecutor and the lead Prosecutor got their pensions illegally increased.
Nice.
