I Hope She Wins

A teen submitted a poem to her school newspaper, and the paper refused to publish it. She is suing. The reason for the refusal is that the teacher who was the editor declared that the poem was too controversial. The poem was about Chauvin and Floyd.

I hope she wins. Why? Because at its most basic, the lawsuit is not about free speech. After all, no one is telling this girl that she can’t say whatever she wishes. The crux of the argument here is whether or not a publisher can decide what they will publish. If the school newspaper can be forced to publish a George Floyd poem, then it can also be forced to publish another student’s poem about fraud in the 2020 election, or how the jab is killing people.

School newspapers have long suppressed those on the right. A decision in this case can only be in favor of the right. Why? If the girl loses, it is status quo ante. If she wins, the precedent can be used to the right’s advantage.

Amazon takeover

Amazon provides web servers for 40 percent of all online content. Companies like the BBC, Fox, Netflix, Capitol One, Coca Cola, and Twitter all use Amazon for their web servers. This is important because Amazon announced last week that it has created a team that will begin looking at content that it hosts to determine if that content is “a threat.” Threats will include what Amazon refers to as “extremist groups” who post “dangerous content” including misinformation, inciting violence, or extremism. In other words, double ungood think. Once these groups are identified, they will be eliminated from the server.

This places Amazon in the unique position of being in control of the Internet. Anyone want to take bets on whether or not things like Donald Trump, opposition to the jab, or the Second Amendment foundation will be permitted?

Smaller blogs like mine just don’t have the traffic to justify the expense of a dedicated server. I have a solution. I have set up a virtual server that is outside of the USA, beyond Amazon’s control, and will not respond to cancel culture arm twisting. The expense is a bit high for a small blog, but my aim is to make it more affordable by splitting the cost.

Your entire blog can be moved for a small fee and placed on that server. The cost for the server is $25 a month. You can even choose to pay it through my Patreon. If anyone is interested, drop me an email at divemedic@sectorocho.com. Put “won’t be silenced” in the subject line.

Silence!

What is the difference between former President Trump, The Gateway Pundit, Milo Yiannopolous, Project Veritas, Mike Lindell and the Taliban? The Taliban is the only one that is still permitted to post on Twitter.

President Donald Trump (@realDonaldTrump) was permanently suspended “due to the risk of further incitement of violence.”

Mike Lindell, CEO of MyPillow, was permanently banned for unspecified “repeated violations” of Twitter’s “civic integrity policy”

Communications

Earlier today, there was a story that broke about the Biden Administration, with their corporate partners in a Mussolini style fascist agreement, shutting down the public square by silencing SMS messages that are contrary to Big Brother’s message.

This isn’t the first time that these conspirators have silenced opposition:

It is difficult to fight and resist oppression if you cannot communicate. You also don’t want the secret police rolling you up too easily. When the DOJ was conspiring to overthrow Trump, they were well aware of the NSA’s capabilities, yet they chose to communicate with each other through HAM radios to coordinate this effort, even though such use was in violation of Federal law.

It makes a lot of sense when you think about it. The National Security Agency (NSA) picks up and records almost all electronic communications, thereby effectively wiretapping telephone conversations, email, and practically everything else we send out electronically. What the NSA doesn’t get, their partners in social media and at Google do.

The wife of a Deputy Director of the DOJ was coordinating this attempted coup, and would be well aware of the NSA’s capabilities. There are many technical reasons why spying on HAM radio would be a nearly impossible task. Just by using the frequencies and methods permitted to a person with a Technician license, there are thousands of available channels. Toss in the various modes like Digital, SSB, USB, AM, FM, CW, etc., and then consider that the higher frequencies are short range and would require hundreds of listening stations in every state, and it becomes a very difficult proposition to monitor HAM radio.

Insert basic tradecraft where a message is inserted into an innocent sounding conversation, and there is no practical way to shut down or monitor communications. It also becomes impossible to monitor a quick message through traffic analysis, if the operators do not identify, the conversation is short, and the transmitters mobile.

The coup plotters know this, and this is why they chose to communicate that way. This is how the pros do it.

A technician license is easy to get. A 2 meter handheld radio can reach several kilometers and costs less than $50. Start thinking about communications methods that don’t include the Internet.

Don’t you see that things are only going to get worse? There is no voting out of this, and no one is coming to save you. Time is short, and preparations need to be rushed to completion.
