This is why I fight to keep this blog from going too far down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole. When Charlie Kirk was murdered, there is footage of one of his bodyguards pushing a button on a device attached to another body guard.
It’s not a mystery- that button is a programmable button that public safety agencies use as an emergency button. It’s used for that because it’s very easy to find quickly by feel, since it’s at the base of the antenna. I carried a radio with one of those buttons for DECADES, but some Internet rando has cracked an entire conspiracy by watching a Youtube video.
In my department, when pushed it switched your radio back to channel one, set off an alarm at every 911 dispatcher’s console, and opened your microphone for 30 seconds. It doesn’t have to do that, however. If I were a bodyguard, I would have it alert my backup team, or summon a driver, or any number of things.
I posited that, and was immediately shot down as not knowing what I am talking about.
This is peak conspiracy. It isn’t enough of a story for a crazed tranny to murder the head of a conservative organization by using a rifle to snipe him at distance. No, people have to spin a story involving his wife betraying him to be in league with the Jews.
One of the ways governments engage in disinformation is through the discrediting of movements by mimicking the movement, but doing it so far in the extreme as to make its adherents look like idiots who are one theory away from a new suit whose sleeves tie in the back.
That’s why I require evidence before screaming about Israel. I’m tired of the stupidity and I just don’t want this blog to become a version of Stormfront. With that being said, I do support the free exchange of ideas, but it’s a fine line that needs to be walked. If you have evidence of Israeli involvement or even Jewish involvement, post a link to it, and I don’t have a problem publishing it. However, come on here with vague innuendo or a game of six degrees from Jews, and I will toss it in the trash.
Posting a link to your own blog, or to some other antisemitic blog that posts innuendo without evidence isn’t evidence. Anyone can have a website, as this blog has proven time and time again.

I have serious doubts about any narrative supplied by ‘official channels’. The only conspiracy theorey I laugh at is the one about the moon landing being done in a studio, the rest may have a bit of truth to them. I believe Robinson took the shot, but was not successful. Since I am not privy to information surrounding all the events (Butler, PA, Kirk, even JFK and Civil War causes), I rely on the videos, documents, etc., of the conspiracy theorists and my common sense to come to the conclusion the government is lying to me. I believe that very few people know the real truth.

Nations do not have friends. They have national interests. Sometimes those interests align with other nations interests and sometimes they do not.
The problem I have with Israel, Ukraine and other nations is that many of our elected legislators and appointed officials have taken the lobbyist money to work in their national interests instead of American interests. This cannot be corrected with the current system and staff. Expecting it to be so is like expecting my hungry German Shepherd to guard my steak without eating it!

Im not saying that cant happen. Im saying that it isnt going to be a case of people saying “Since it can happen, that is evidence that it did happen.”
Again, it’s a fine line between free discussions and conspiracy lunacy without evidence, and I don’t want this blog to become a site full of nutty people spouting nonsense.

Our site radios have multiple channels and gps. One channel for ops, one for electricians, one for pipefitters, one for inspection, and one for safety and rescue etc
If you push the panic button on any of our radios it alarms ever other unit on site. It also displays on the screens which radio pushed the panic button and the gps location of said rafio, it also moves every radio to all channel transmit.
Some of the millwrights are notoriously bad for squatting down and hitting the recessed button some how.

Yes, they are digital radios, only have 1 frequency. The channels are just a code at the start that tells the other radios to ignore it or send it to speaker.

No. They are trunked digital radios. A trunked system allows a large number of radios to share a smaller number of frequencies.
One dedicated frequency acts as the system’s “brain” or traffic controller. It transmits a continuous stream of data packets instead of voice traffic, coordinating all activity across the network. Every radio in the system constantly listens to this control channel when not actively transmitting.
Instead of tuning to a fixed frequency, users belong to virtual channels called talkgroups. A firefighter selecting TAC1 will cause every other radio that has selected TAC1 to be on the same talkgroup.
When a person presses the transmit button, the central computer controller checks for an open frequency from its shared pool, assigns it in milliseconds, and sends a command back over the control channel telling all radios in that specific talkgroup to jump to the assigned frequency.
The system can be either analog or digital, depending on the system.

It’s what happens when someone who “thinks” they know what’s going on, just shows their ignorance. Which I have very little tolerance for.
However, if one comes to a conversation with “I see X, what are they doing?” I’m more than willing to explain/educate. The difference is one of humility asking questions and arrogance making bone-headed statements.
