54% of Americans think the Supreme Court is too political and favors President Trump. Only 3 in 10 Americans support the electoral college, with 63% of those surveyed thinking the President should be elected by popular vote. At least according to left leaning think tanks and propaganda sites like The Hill.
The Democrats have a plan. They want to expand SCOTUS to 13 Justices and eliminate the electoral college. Oh, and add Puerto Rico and DC as states.
We know the end goal- they have already told us.
- Free healthcare
- Legalize all drugs
- Eliminate minimum prison sentences
- Eliminate cash bail
- Free college
- Nationwide rent control
- Free lawyers for all tenants in rental disputes
- More government housing
- Paid family leave
- Free childcare
- 32 hour workweek with no change in weekly pay
- Nationwide right for unions and to strike
- Green New Deal
- Raise taxes on the richest earners, for-profit corporations, large inheritances, and private colleges and universities.
- Establish a wealth tax
- Free Palestine
- Cut military
- Close overseas military bases, bring all troops home
- Open borders
- Complete amnesty
- Cancel all economic sanctions against all nations
- Voting rights to all residents, including felons and illegal immigrants
- DC statehood
- Replace the two-party system with a multi-party democracy through proportional representation elections.
- Expand the number of seats in the House of Representatives
- end the Senate filibuster.
- Limit the Court’s power of judicial review which it uses to effectively create and abolish laws outside the legislative process.
- eliminate the Electoral College
- eliminate the Senate
Be prepared. Things are going to get bumpy.

Go to downtown LA and see how wonderful many of these ideas work and they want THAT for the rest of the country ?

This was the finest summation of what the Electoral College is when I encountered it back in 2017 shortly after Trump defeated Hillary Clinton. People were screaming the EC must be eliminated.
“In their infinite wisdom, the United States’ Founders created the Electoral College to ensure the STATES were fairly represented. Why should just a few densely populated areas speak for the whole of the nation? The following list of statistics has been making the rounds on the Internet. It should finally put an end to the argument as to why the Electoral College makes sense.
There are 3,141 counties in the United States. Trump won 3,084 of them. Clinton won 57. There are 62 counties in New York State. Trump won 46 of them. Clinton won 16. Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes. In the 5 counties that encompass NYC, (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens) Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump. (Clinton only won 4 of these counties; Trump won Richmond) Therefore these 5 counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote of the entire country. These 5
counties comprise 319 square miles.
The United States is comprised of 3,797,000 square miles. When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest
that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election. Large, densely populated Democrat cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, San Francisco, Detroit, etc.) DO NOT and SHOULD NOT speak for the rest of the country! And…it’s been verified and documented that those aforementioned 319 square miles are where the majority of our nation’s problems continually erupt.”

And I would also point out that most of those cities are largely inhabited by illegals or first generation legal immigrants who have little in common with the rest of the country and whose parents and grandparents were not involved in building it.

As a Country the US of A is FUBAR’d. Completely and totally.
As individuals I would guesstimate that 10 to 15 percent of the population would try to maintain some resemblance of a decent society and hopefully 3% would stand and do what 3%’rs do, FREEDOM!

It’s what happens when voters get too comfortable, too lazy, and would rather discuss bread and circuses versus history and politics.
When entire generations are taught “we don’t discuss politics or religion” versus being taught HOW to discuss difficult topics.
When certain people (fill in your own blank) are able to have carve-outs supported by the government with the backing of armed agents. When people do the “legal thing” versus the “right thing.”

Too young to have seen long term trends. No understanding of the real principles or that in any real world nobody gets their way Every. Single. Time.
The shocker to me was the woman saying if she got raped her rapist shouldn’t be sent to prison. There should be no prisons whatsoever.

Eliminating the Senate and eliminating the Electoral College would both require Constitutional amendments passed with UNANIMOUS VOTES, so those cannot happen. And just abrogating the Constitution, our fundamental law, would most certainly set off a civil war.
Bumpy? It would be BLOODY, and more bloody than the last civil war.
