I have long said I am opposed to the death penalty on practical grounds. That is, I support the death penalty in principle, but don’t trust the Government to not execute the innocent. The case of Nidal Hasan doesn’t fit into my opposition.
According to The Washington Post, Hasan made a presentation titled “The Quranic World View as It Relates to Muslims in the U.S. Military” during his senior year of residency at WRAMC; it was not well received by some attendees. He suggested the U.S. Department of Defense “should allow Muslim soldiers the option of being released as ‘Conscientious objectors’ to increase troop morale and decrease adverse events.” He explained “adverse events” could be refusal to deploy, espionage, or killing of fellow soldiers.
Hasan represented himself in trial and admitted responsibility for the shooting, claiming to have switched sides in a “war on Islam” waged by the United States. Unrepentant, he bragged about striking a blow for Jihad. That admission is good enough for me.
He killed his comrades in arms, and I hope his upcoming execution hurts like hell.

I would support his execution via broadcast of his beheading with a axe covered in pigs blood.
Muslims are incompatible with being citizens of the US. Much less being elected officials, politicians, police, other civil servants and members of the military.

That would be a good way… I propose that we place the condemned into a small brick cell with no furniture. Leave the lights on and have cameras tuned in. Leave the scene and don’t return for forty days. No food, no water. Rinse. Repeat…

better yet, when the “ready” command is issued a bucket of pigs blood be thrown over him.
“aim”
“fire”
and another dousing as he slumps.

When people forget history….. Gen John “BlackJack” Pershing was in charge of US troops in the Philipines (Spanish-American War, 1890s), one of the orders was executing combatants with bullets that had been dipped in pig’s blood, with bodies being rolled into pigskins…. he always left one alive to report back to the enemy.
This war is also where the term “leathernecks” came from. The Moro tribesmen used machetes aimed at necks. The Marines used stiffened leather protectors to same. This same war saw the US’s use of the anemic .38 caliber revolver round, pushing development of the .45 cal and the 1911.

I have to disagree with the publicity and making a spectacle out of the event. Just walk in the damn cell and give the man a 22 behind the ear and be done with it.
The families of those he murdered and maimed have suffered enough already.

Hegseth should have an all woman firing squad do it with bullets dipped in bacon grease. Yes!

I remember a while back that someone was making 9mm, 5.56, and .308 ammunition that were hollow points filled with pig’s blood. Should use those and make sure to tell Hasan what you are doing, right after the hood goes over his head. Also let that be known publicly. We should also save the execution for half time at the Army/Navy game so it gets nation wide coverage. Afterward Trump can announce that this will be the preferred method of execution for any muzzie committing jihad style murder.

Grumpy51: Yes, people do forget, because some of the info is suppressed–like the fact that nobody called him “Black Jack”. That was cleaned up for public consumption. His nickname originally began with the letter “N”.

Frankly, I thought this would be perfect for the next Army- Navy game at half time. 😁

Which is more painful ? 1) to be the recipient of humane execution; or 2) life in Supermax Colorado?
