Read this story about cops selling NFA weapons to criminal gangs and then tell me again how only the government can be trusted with guns.
ICE lost $100 million worth of firearms and no one cares. BATFE says that police departments are let off off with warnings. They claim that prosecutors are reluctant to charge these cases, and the bureau stated that “it is our goal to educate, not investigate.”
“We’re not looking to prosecute fellow law enforcement officers,” said Eric Harden, former special agent in charge of the ATF’s Los Angeles field division.
What would BATFE do to a citizen or FFL who did this?
It’s time for Federal law enforcement to be disbanded. All they are is a tool of government tyranny.

“Some ammunition can take out a helicopter or blow straight through an armored tank followed by a concrete building, out the other side, then explode, hitting targets 18 football fields away” – Somebodies leg got pulled here.

That’s the ATF deliberately confusing the issue. There is ammo that can do those things, but not many can afford an M-1 Abrams.

Another 3 letter agency, full of liars, thieves, and charlatans. The government is nothing but a racket for insiders.

It’s a good thought experiment to consider how to disband some or all of federal law enforcement. One can easily argue that the Constitution provides for only three crimes (treason, piracy, and counterfeiting) and by implication, all other crimes (e.g. murder, theft, rape) are matters for the states to enact into law. But the federal statutes are littered with crimes (apparently numbered in the thousands). Would legal scholars argue that these federal crimes must be enforced by federal agencies or would they be enforced by the states? Or if the federal law enforcement agencies were eliminated, would those crimes also have to be removed from federal statutes?

Mexico is trying to sue US firearms manufacturers because their products end up in the hands of the cartels. Sounds like Mexico needs to be suing individual law enforcement agencies from local to federal.
Ever since J. Edgar the various federal law enforcement agencies have been criminal organizations, growing and growing to choke the life out of the average citizen.

I’ve said the most violent and heavily armed gang in LA was the LAPD for years, although the LASD runs a close second. It’s also significant that only use of a registered machine gun in a crime was by a cop with a department owned gun.
The FBI has become the DNC’s Stasi and the ATF DEA and ICE are no better. Eliminate qualified immunity, fire all the management and start over.
