ATF has announced they won’t be enforcing NFA registration requirements on owners of suppressors and SBRs. The law remains on the books and is still constitutional in most of the nation.
So I ask you this: What happens on January 21, 2029, when the next President takes office? Anyone who has an unregistered SBR or suppressor will be in possession of an unregistered NFA item. The law will still be there, it will now depend on who you are and how badly they want to see you in prison.

There’s whiplash from having gone from needing to remove *and destroy* factory arm braces to keep pistols still considered pistols to it no longer matters what you attach to your pistol in one administration change.

If the winds blow wrong, you are keen and since it costs you nothing, you may want to register online a week or two prior to Jan 20. Or simply do not throw away your braces.
Spare shotgun barrels have suddenly gone up….

I have said, and continue to say, I am not registering shit. Registration is only good for one thing: Confiscation.
