Why am I seeing so much of the “Where is your warrant?” bullshit on social media. Cops don’t need to show a warrant while arresting someone, especially not to anyone who demands to see it.
Hopefully they did have a warrant seeing how they went into a home without permission or exigent circumstances.
I am amazed at the gentle restraint of the police as these women hurl abuse at them. Good on them.

I suspect we all tend to make up rules in our head about the way things should be, often unconsciously.
It’s always interesting – or “interesting” – when one’s internally developed rules beliefs about how things should be and work, differs from the reality.

It would be nice though if they provided a warrant when requested. If the cops are knocking on my door and saying that I’m under arrest; I’m going to tell them to slide the warrant under the door and I’ll surrender peacefully. If not they can piss off. Otherwise I hope they have level 4 plates.
Out on the streets. I understand it’s a different kettle of fish.

The poster makes an interesting statement – hopefully they have a warrant – no exigent cirucumstances.
Oh, so close, so very close to being a smartass, but, alas…
A person of interest in a felony property damage investigation is visible and the doorway was opened by the occupants of the house. At that point, they DO have a right to come in and arrest her. Same as if they saw a crack-dealer running into the bathroom.
The mistake was opening the door….

Little bitches costing daddy a lot of money. Attempted escape, resisting arrest with violence, attempted evasion & the original offense. She’s lucky she’s not mine. She would sit. & my daughter knew it.

We used to use the term “shithouse lawyers” for folks who got in the middle of things demanding warrants we didn’t need and other such dumb stuff. The retard is strong in much of our population.
