How not to sell a gun
I was just at a local gun store. I walked up to the Smith and Wesson section of the store, and stood in line behind a couple who were looking for a handgun. They obviously knew very little about handguns, and the sales guy didn’t know much more.
Every pistol he handed them from the case, they immediately grabbed it with their finger on the trigger. No one checked to ensure the gun was loaded before sweeping half of the customers in the store. The woman declared that she wanted a Glock. The husband responded, “Well, that isn’t what we are getting.” She then pointed (at an E-Z) and said that she wanted that one. He replied that he wanted (pointing at a full sized) this other one. This went on for 5 minutes. They walked away without getting anything.
Then I asked if they had an M&P45. He said that all they had was what was in the case. Now since this particular store has several locations, I asked if he could check to see if the other locations had any. He said, “I can’t see their inventory from here.” Uh- you can’t call?
Anyhow, I am in search of a full sized M&P45. All I can find anywhere is the Shield, and I already have one of those. Anyone know where I can get one in Central Florida? I would prefer paying less than $550.

This week, my wife was notified by her employer that the vaccine is voluntary. However, if she refuses to take the vaccine and is either exposed to or catches COVID, she will not be permitted to take sick leave during her two week quarantine and MUST take the time off WITHOUT pay.
This is how they will enforce the vaccine mandate- they will make it impossible to participate in society without it. Unless you are an illegal immigrant. Then you are good to go.

A Federal judge in Ohio ruled that the CDC’s ban on evictions exceeds its authority, but also refused to block the CDC from enforcing it.
The Marshall court once wrote “A Law repugnant to the Constitution is void.” If the CDC doesn’t have the power to block evictions, then why not block it? Our courts are useless. They have been cowed into being subservient to the leviathan.

NYC douchebags
This is the sort of thing that creates friction between my wife and I. She is from New York state, not the city. People from NYC have this sort of attitude:
“The main problem with moving to Florida is that you have to live in Florida,” said Jason Mudrick, “New York has the smartest, most driven people, the best culture, the best restaurants and the best theaters. Anyone moving to Florida to save a little money loses out on all of that.”
I express the opinion that New Yorkers are arrogant douchebags, then she gets insulted. I just get tired of the “everyone who isn’t from NYC is an ignorant, uneducated redneck” kind of attitude. Upstate people are fine, but NYC people are horrible.

One life != another
A South Florida real estate agent was abducted, forced to drive to two ATMs, withdrawing $500 from each, then shot and murdered. He did everything the robber asked, and was murdered anyway. The anti-gun crowd tells us to “just do what they want” and you will be fine. What if what they want is to kill you?
What makes this case so unusual is that the murderer/robber was arrested for armed robbery three years ago at the age of 12. That’s correct- the killer was 15 years old, and at the time of the killing already had a long rap sheet for armed robbery, battery on a LEO, burglaries, resisting arrest with violence, and other crimes.
This shooting is simply verification of my post of several days ago: Black males make up about 6% of the US population, but commit 45% of the homicides.
I know the left feels like one life is equal to another, but I disagree. I know which of the two I would rather see walking around, and it isn’t this douchebag. Carry a gun. Practice. Be ready and willing to defend your own life.
