Weaponizing Free Speech

A Federal judge in Massachusetts rules that a shirt that reads “there are only two genders” is not protected speech and “invades the rights of others” by targeting a “protected class.” (pdf alert) What this ruling contends is that some people have more rights than others, that trannies and other deviant individuals have more rights than others. There would be no action taken against a student wearing a shirt that reads “there is no god,” or one that says “I support trans rights because I am not an idiot.”

I agree with the line of thought that a school should prohibit any activity or speech that interferes with the main mission of the school: education. The maintenance of effective control over the classroom is necessary for the learning environment that is needed for students to learn. Anyone who has tried to teach anyone (child or adult) knows that the classroom needs to be conducive to learning. Distractions like political discussions interfere with that and need to be controlled.

The problem with the situation that we read about here is that action is only being taken against one disruption while the school actively supports other disruptions by having gay pride parties and discussions. The shirt that I pictured above would be allowed because it supports the tranny/leftist agenda. It’s not the dress code itself that Morrison spoke out against, but the illegitimate, arbitrary, and unequal way school personnel enforced it against him for his disfavored political views. The same school that prohibits a shirt reading “there are only two genders” freely hung pride flags and diversity posters throughout the school, so they aren’t opposed to the disruption, they are just trying to make sure that all disruptions are of one end of the political spectrum. The school even takes a day off for the holidays of Juneteenth, Indigenous People’s Day, and MLK day, and spends the month of June celebrating pride month, but no holiday for President’s day. It’s clear that the school district is run by hard core leftists.

That is how they are grooming the children of their town- by repeatedly exposing them to leftist messaging while denying those students from seeing an opposing viewpoint. That is the definition of restricting free speech and this decision will hopefully be appealed and struck down.

Should there be no recourse in the legislature or the courts, people may well begin to take action on their own.

Winning

Now that the Second Amendment is a winning issue in court, the left is getting desperate. Gavin Newsom is proposing a 28th Amendment that would add the left’s wish lists to the Constitution. There is precisely zero chance of getting 3/4 of the states to approve such an amendment, at least not in my lifetime.

Others on the left are proposing some pretty wild stuff:

a better proposal would be to repeal and replace the 2nd Amendment through Congress and the states.

By replacing the convoluted language of the 2nd Amendment with a list of specific rules for gun ownership, gun violence can be reduced.

This has the same chances of success as Newsome’s 28th Amendment, and for the same reasons. There is also:

Instead of taking decades to secure approval of two-thirds of Congress and three-fourths of the states, I believe a gun summit at Camp David — with gun-rights advocates, law enforcement and survivors — could hammer out new, commonsense gun safety measures in a matter of days.

I don’t see this being Constitutional. Gun rights organizations are done compromising with the left. Compromise to the left means “We want to take all of your rights. You don’t want to give them up. How about we compromise and only take half of them? Then next year, we can do this again.” No. Just no. The gun control side doesn’t deal in good faith. How about this proposal?

The 2nd Amendment begins with “a well-regulated militia” — not just a militia, but a a well-regulated one. An honest interpretation would be that as long as restrictions do not impede the formation of a regulated state militia, they could be deemed permissible.

My suggestion to Newsom: Allow widespread ownership of firearms, but all such arms (some types of small arms might be exempted) would be held by the California National Guard and could be accessed and used only through the Guard.

This hot take was destroyed in the Heller decision. Apparently, the anti-gun idiots haven’t read it.

No, Just No

They tell us that we are paranoid because no one wants to take our guns.

Jane Fonda says that we need to kill all of the white men in order to save the planet. You see, according to her and the climate change religion, we only have eight years to cut our greenhouse gas emissions in half, or the world is doomed. Of course, they were saying we only had eight years last year. They also said it the year before that. They also said we only had eight years in 2007, sixteen years ago.

She should have been arrested and sentenced to death for treason when she went to North Vietnam and sat on that anti-aircraft gun for a photo opportunity. I am sick of the anti-American left telling me how they are going to come after me to have me killed, fired, deplatformed, or whatever, then telling me that I am paranoid for not wanting to give up my guns.

I am not giving up my guns, I am not getting into the rail car, and if you try, my only hope is that I make the trade an expensive one.

I Said It

I said that landlords were the first targets. Now the Mayor of NYC wants to ignore private property rights and mandate the housing of illegals in the “spare rooms” of private homes.

False Flag

The more I see this kind of stuff, the more I am convinced that the entire Jan 6 thing was deliberately done by the swamp.

In the aftermath of the storming of the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters on Jan. 6, new video footage has emerged on social media, showing Antifa activist John Sullivan inciting violence at the federal building under the garb of a Trump supporter.

Sullivan, who was arrested by authorities on Thursday, told Fox News in an interview last week that he was at the protest in the capacity of a video journalist and to film what was happening but did not actively participate in the attack. “It’s just recording, solely, and not being active in it,” he said.

Nonsense

The Oakland University in Michigan is “giving some of its land back to Native Americans.” They claim that “stealing” native land “contributed to high rates of diabetes, malnourishment, poor access to dental care and more issues Native communities face today.” Why is that?

There’s a long history of settlers in this country deciding what’s good for Native people and forcing that upon them

You mean like forcing them to use your preferred pronouns? (insert eyeroll here)

Over the course of a century, Native children were taken by U.S. government agents and sent to schools hundreds of miles away from their families. At these schools, they experienced physical, sexual, and spiritual abuse and torture…These were schools meant to, in overtly violent ways, assimilate them to a white society,

So grooming DOES happen in schools. At least we can agree on that. Then the real gobbledygook begins:

A problem with measuring success, Peiser says, is that metrics of counting are about power, while Indigenous communities place value on keeping balance — such as balanced and healthy relationships between humans, animals, plants, and the planet.

So measuring things is about power. Wait, there is more:

While the land offers the community a place to perform activities they could not otherwise, Peiser says more could be done — including getting Native students free tuition to OU, as was promised in the 1855 Treaty of Detroit, and hiring more Native faculty.

“For your Native faculty, you need to hire somebody native to that place, which means your application pool will not come from all over the country,” Peiser said. “It will come from your backyard. And you need to be willing to hire knowledge keepers that won’t have Ph.D.s because we learn our Indigenous practices from our communities, not from colonialist institutions.”

So hire faculty who is unqualified to teach, and don’t give grades or award degrees. That would be a white tradition. I am betting you that the opposition that these faculty members have to measuring things won’t apply to their paychecks, another white tradition.
