Illegal Tenants

California tenants get free lawyers when they are evicted from a rental property, and now the left is demanding that this handout be expanded to illegal immigrants.

“The court system is very nebulous and discouraging for residents, who do not know how the court system works,” said Sandra Plascencia, a policy advocate with Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability, a local advocacy group. 

So the landlords have to fight against the government’s unlimited coffers. What effect does this have? The reputable businessmen will leave the rental business, and all you have left will be the shysters. This woman only makes $500 a week. In California. There aren’t many reputable landlords who will rent to someone making $25k a year in an expensive real estate market like California. After all, what kind of place can you realistically think you are going to rent for a woman, her child, and her elderly mother in a city whose average rent is $1.64 a month? A shitty one, that’s what. Still, forcing landlords to provide all of these benefits and forcing them to provide nicer rentals is merely going to ensure that women like the one in the article won’t be able to get a rental at any price.

Of course the commies in California have to lie and misdirect, because that is what the left does:

“If you steal a watermelon or a steak from a store and get arrested, you get a public defender to walk you through the whole entire process,” said Shara Thompson, the Central Valley regional coordinator with Tenants Together, a local advocacy group. “But when you’re being evicted for subletting — which is very minuscule — you don’t get any assistance.”

The big lie here is that stealing is a criminal offense where the legal adversary is the government and losing means perhaps going to jail. In an eviction your legal adversary is another citizen, and losing means having to move out of the rental property that you don’t own and aren’t paying for.

According to the California Apartment Association, rent increases above 10% annually are allowed on older buildings if landlords provide proper notice. Landlords can also evict people on the claim of major renovations to the home, which advocates say is another common tactic they believe is used to evict tenants. 

Then the article goes on to claim that landlords are being unfair because they won’t renovate properties, but then also takes landlords to task for asking tenants to move out so they can renovate properties.

I have said before that one of the things that communists ALWAYS do is portray property owners into some sort of evil monsters who prey on the poor. You will notice that the article is nearly ignoring the fact that wage earner for this illegal immigrant family of three is earning less than California’s minimum wage.

Smart Guns, Stupid Reporters

This market report claims that smart guns are the future of firearms. I don’t think that they are. This report can be believed, since the reporter also claims that:

traditional iron sight, which can also help shooters look through an optical telescope for aim, red dot sights project a small light directly onto a target.

So iron sights help you look through a telescope for aim, and red dots project light? How can I take financial advice from someone who obviously doesn’t know what they are talking about?

Then the story goes on to be a bit more misleading.

gun owners overall are 63% male and 73% white, the study found.

Gun owners being 73% white actually means that whites are slightly underrepresented as gun owners, since whites are about 76 percent of the population. Math is a thing.

I don’t see how you can claim that 63% are male, since we don’t seem to know what male or female is any longer.

Unarmed= At the Mercy of Others

The people in Maui were prohibited by the police from leaving the area. The ones who were forced to stay, died.

More than 1,000 people are missing or dead- many of them children- after police would not allow them to flee the advancing flames. If the people would have been capable of armed resistance, would the results have been the same?

People get the government that they vote for. That’s why I don’t feel sorry for the residents of Hawaii. They voted for a Democrat governor, Senators, Representatives, and have voted for Democrat Presidents for decades. Hawaiians: This is YOUR fault. Remember that on election day, assuming that it isn’t too late for your votes to matter.

Scaring the Kids

I got a call from my sister. Her 14 year old daughter, my niece, is being sexually harassed at school. There are a couple of boys who are being very descriptive in what they want to do to her. She told them that what they were doing is sexual harassment, but the boys responded with “You women are just too sensitive.”

Two weeks ago, she emailed the school counselor. Who did nothing. It has continued to happen.

So yesterday, she went to the counselor’s office and complained. The counselor said that there is nothing she can do but move my niece to a different class.

I told my niece that this is unacceptable. She is the victim and shouldn’t have to move, plus this won’t stop the boy from simply seeing her somewhere else and continuing the behavior. I told her that the way forward is to go to the principal (or have her mother do it) and ask that administrator if he is going to take action. Point out to him that he is required by law to take disciplinary action against the boy, and if he doesn’t, she will contact the county school board’s title IX officer and make it an official complaint. Trust me, it won’t go that far.

My niece doesn’t want to do that because she is afraid that, if the boys get in trouble, they are going to bring a gun to school and shoot her.

This is what the left is doing to young women- they have them so afraid of the almost nonexistent threat from school shootings that are black swan events, that these young girls are being sexually harassed and afraid enough that they are having to take it.

  • These girls are having to change in locker rooms next to a “trans woman” with “her” penis hanging out.
  • They are having boys make those kinds of comments about them.
  • The schools now do nothing.
  • And the girls are afraid to stand up for themselves for fear of retribution,

Tell me again how the left is the group that supports women. I get it. Teenaged boys are stupid and have no game. They need to learn that this isn’t the way to get women. Twenty or thirty years ago, the way that boys learned this lesson was a guy said some shit like that, and he was told to cut it out. If he didn’t, one of the girl’s male friends, her brother, or some other male would kick the shit out of him and he would learn some respect. A few months later, they would all be friends again.

Not today. Now we are too civilized for that.

Disagreement

Gunfreezone is a blog I read everyday. In the recent past, they have been allowing a person that is what I would call a liberal light. Kind of like the Coors light of lefties. Anyhow, today’s post from that particular blogger goes on and on about how the left doesn’t condone the actions of those who attack people for their opinions. I disagree. Not only do they condone it, they actively participate.

I had an opinion that I expressed on social media and a deranged leftist threatened to go after my job. Then she sent her online minions to spam this website, and tried to get me removed from Twitter. leftie tried to dox me and end my career for merely stating an unapproved opinion. Then tried to get my blog shut down.

Coming after my blog, after my job, trying to get me doxxed? All of that is no different than tearing down a Fag Flag. The post over there ends with:

When people on the Left and the Right stay silent over actions like this, over burning American flags, Gadsden flags, rainbow flags, over threats of violence and disruption of business, they are tacitly telling their friends and family that it’s okay. They are saying that they won’t step in, that perhaps they’re even supporting such actions. Certainly in the minds of the few twisted individuals who break and murder innocent people, that silence is interpreted as support.

Stand up against this kind of (expletive erased). I don’t care who does it. I don’t even care what their reason is. Stand up against it, and stop it from happening. I don’t want the next flag owner who is shot to be you, or me, or someone I know and love.

So explain to me how what that woman did to me was any different than standing outside of another person’s business and screaming invectives. The left’s continued support for cancel culture and getting people fired for expressing political opinions is going to have but one logical solution- violence. The people that are losing their livelihoods, businesses, and property are going to respond with violence.

Don’t pretend to be a victim when you are counterattacked during a war that you started.

Truth? Or Muckraking?

Remember back during the Chauvin trial, when people were threatening witnesses? The defense attorneys in the trial received death threats? Or when the jury members were found to be members of BLM and Antifa marches? All of that was not a problem.

Now that news outlets are claiming people are doing the same in the Trump case, it’s a problem again. I hope they are. Goose, gander, all of that. However, I don’t believe that it’s happening. This is the tail wagging the dog- the news is creating content to get people riled up.

The Catholic Church Can Kiss My Ass

But Newark’s Roman Catholic Archbishop, who says:

Salvation came from Christ, not from an AR-15. To them, Jesus says as he did to the arms-bearing Peter, “put that away.”

The Catholic church has become a gun control organization. I quote:

The Supreme Court has expanded the application of the second amendment, which says nothing about “personal ownership” or “guns” to mean that individuals have the right to possess, carry, and shoot semiautomatic weapons of war designed solely to kill, maim, and obliterate human life.

In fact, the conference of Catholic Bishops has this to say:

“We support a total ban on assault weapons and limitations on civilian access to high-capacity weapons and ammunition magazines.”

I want to point out what happened to Jesus- he was tortured and murdered by his government. Since I can’t miracle myself to a resurrection, I think I will keep my guns. In the meantime, the Catholic church and its communist pope can work on not letting their priests fuck little kids.

Pretentious Ass

I was out with my wife and some of her coworkers for some cocktails. The only other male there was an English teacher, and as you can guess from his useless degree, he is a flaming liberal. We got into a conversation about how movies that are based on books are largely trash. One of the ones we talked about was Starship Troopers. His point was that the story was about the evils of Capitalism and the dangers of letting a capitalistic system have control of the military. Proving that he doesn’t know who Robert Heinlein is, nor has he actually read any of his work, to include Starship Troopers.

Then he went on to tell me how his favorite author was Steinbeck, with Hemingway and Melville being tied for a close second. Then he went on a 20 minute spiel about how The Great Gatsby was actually just a retelling of Moby Dick, framed in a way to illustrate the crass waste that is Capitalism. Of course he is a fan of those three authors- all three of them are Socialists.

Why is it that Socialists always picture a socialist system in which they are permitted to sit around and talk about poetry and Stalin, and not the real version of socialism where they toil in the fields or labor in a death camp?
