A 17 year old in Putnam county argued with a man before shooting a 5 year old child in retribution. He was arrested on one count of aggravated battery, three counts of aggravated assault and one count of firing a missile into a vehicle — all of which are felony charges.

In the interest of full disclosure, I will start this post by saying that I am opposed to the death penalty. Not in principle, mind you. After all, there is only one way that is 100% certain to make sure that a killer doesn’t repeat his crime. No, I am opposed to the death penalty because I don’t trust the government officials in charge of the criminal “justice” system. Ask the Duke Lacrosse players, or any of the thousands of people exonerated by the Innocence Project. To put even one person to death who didn’t deserve it is a travesty of justice that makes all of us culpable in that innocent death.

Now that we have that out of the way, I will also say that if there ever was anyone who deserves the death penalty is the guy who carried out that shooting. He was upset because no girl wanted a piece of him, so he admitted that he planned the shooting for Valentine’s Day so none of the students would ever celebrate that holiday again. He admitted to planning out his attack for five years. He simply waited until he was old enough to buy guns with which to carry out his massacre. He is an evil son of a bitch who deserves to fry in Florida’s chair, but the jury decided that they will give him life in prison, instead.

Sharing in his guilt are all of the people along the way who knew that this monster was unhinged, yet failed to take action. The FBI, who received numerous calls to their “see something, say something, we do nothing” line. The school counselors who failed to report his statements and behavior. His foster parents who were scared enough to lock up his guns, but not call the cops.

Most of all? The voters of Broward county. They reliably vote for this shit, they vote Democrat, the reelect coward public officials, they tolerate this. They are getting the government that they vote for. It’s just too bad that their mental issues have an effect on the rest of us in this state.

Marcus McCowan Jr. is an 18 year old who was in an Odessa, TX hospital with his girlfriend, who was in labor. This “teen” entered the nursery and tried to choke and shake several babies to death. He attacked a new mother, several staff members, and attempted to take an arriving police officer’s gun. Drugs were found in his possession.

Those actions are enough to get a mention here. However, there is more to the story. The “teen,” you will note, is a “jr.” and has a father of the same name, who was in the news a few years ago, having lost an appeal to the Fifth circuit after being arrested. Let’s let the case speak for itself:

On October 13, 2004, police obtained a search warrant for the house and an arrest warrant for its occupants…Upon entering the dwelling in execution of the warrant, the officers encountered Heather Wilson, who informed them that McCowan resided there. The officers found two handguns in the living room, a.45 caliber handgun found under a couch and a.380 caliber handgun, with the serial number obliterated, found underneath a smaller couch…Beside the .380, approximately six to eight inches away, was a baggie of marijuana… They gave [McCowan] Miranda warnings and began to question him. He gave them a statement in which he admitted: (1) he and Love resided at the house; (2) the handgun in question belonged to his mother; (3) he kept the handgun at the house for protection; (4) he knew its serial number had been filed off; (5) he knew that possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number was unlawful; and (6) he thought the firearm probably had been stolen.

He lost the appeal. It seems that this particular apple didn’t fall very far from this particular tree, which just happened to be located in the orchard that seems to be incapable of living in accordance with the law.

But hey, Cassandra, these two just happen to be two more of what you call “a small subset of violent black males that disproportionately commit violent crimes.”

A police officer is trying to break up a fight between two high school students when a third one jumps in and body slams the cop.

Reading this story, I note that it makes no mention of the races of those involved. You know what that means. Just as I suspected, white cop and black attacker. Watch the video and see for yourself.

I’ve said it before. Time and time again.

Because of an attack in comments, I am adding the following:

Everyone, including the press, knows it to be true. If it weren’t true, the press wouldn’t purposely avoid mentioning race whenever the attacker is black. That is the reason why lawless blacks have become a stereotype.

How can you address or fix a problem if you can’t even be honest in identifying the problem in the first place? When alcoholics go to an AA meeting, they preface their story with “Hi, I am John, and I’m an alcoholic…” because admitting the problem is the first step towards recovery. Rather than making the hard decisions to accurately define and solve the problem, leaders and activists deny the problem even exists, or alternatively, excuse the bad behavior by blaming all the mayhem on racism, slavery, and Jim Crow. The message? “It’s not your fault.”

How’s that working?

Blacks are a third of the population in Chicago but commit 80 percent of all shootings. In Los Angeles, blacks commit 44 percent of all violent crime but make up 9 percent of the population. In St. Louis, blacks are less than a third of the population but commit 90 percent of all homicides. In New York City, blacks commit about three quarters of all shootings although they’re 23 percent of the population. That’s just violent crimes.

Property Crimes are the same story, but not as pronounced. Blacks commit a third of burglaries, more than a quarter of property crime in general.

In case you are wondering, Asians are the most law abiding of all racial demographics. They represent 6 percent of US population, yet only commit 1 percent of property and violent crimes.

The Sentencing Project estimated in 2001 that the likelihood of a Black man spending time behind bars in their lifetime was 1 in 3. The odds of a white man going to jail during his lifetime are 1 in 17. Of course, some will claim racism, and I could buy that if there weren’t so much evidence to the contrary.

Cassandra in comments claims that this is a small subset of blacks, yet has not yet provided one shred of evidence to support that claim. I wouldn’t call one third being a “small subset.” He might as well claim that there is one black male committing every crime, for all of the evidence he has provided. That man’s name is Sum Dood.

There is a new crime trending as of late. The crime is as old as predation itself, where a predator waits at a watering hole. The criminal sits near a bank, ATM, or other source of cash. He follows his prey to a more isolated location, and then violently robs them. This is trending all over the country.

The articles on this always give the same, lame advice. Not once do they ever say something like: “Carry a gun, and if someone tries to rob you, shoot them in the face.” or the one I would REALLY like to see: “If you think that you are being followed home from the bank, call ahead and have half a dozen of your armed friends meet you at an abandoned house as an ambush team. When the robbers pull up behind you and attempt to rob you at gunpoint, your friends can engage them with a heavy volume of fire, achieve fire superiority, and render them crime-ineffective, thus rehabilitating them.”

I tried to find raw video of one such robbery, but every one I could find had some dumb assed reporter voice over, inserting a dramatic description of what happened. Youtube has become a website of professionally produced MSM videos, instead of what it began as, a site of user created content. Useless.

In a story that seems to be made of more than meets the eye, the parent of a Marist student was gunned down by a pair of men that police called homeless.

Roy Johnson, 35, was arrested at the hotel and charged with murdering Kutz with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun. He was also charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. A second homeless man was also arrested: Devin Taylor, 26, was also arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon for allegedly possessing a loaded .223-caliber rifle that had no serial number. The two also had bomb making materials and manuals in their hotel room. The local press has already jumped on the ‘ghost gun’ angle.

The shooting apparently unfolded when the two homeless men began firing shots inside and outside of the hotel, and the victim was struck by random gunfire. Local homeless agencies say that the two men were not put in the hotel by their agencies. Both of them have felony criminal records and have served time in prison.

So much of this stinks to high heaven. How were two homeless men able to afford guns, ammo, and the materials and books to make bombs? It seems convenient that ‘ghost guns’ are involved. There has to be far more to this than meets the eye.
