I’m convinced at this point that more than half of all government spending is just fraud and corruption:
This is pretty widespread at every level of government. I am going to vote to cut every tax I can. That’s why I am voting for Amendment 3. (Yeah, I know that A3 is about local and county taxes, but it’s a tax.)
Why, someone should do a comprehensive investigation:

I wonder if the freak eventually went off to “F” a dog? I doubt it would raise an eyebrow in those human refuse infested cities. What a “S” show these places have become.

I find Catherine Austin Fitts’s explanation most plausible. It’s not going to Somalis. They’re just usful launderies. Some is going to the CIA’s war in Nigeria, but even *that* is mostly more laundering.
The last act of a dying republic is to raid the treasury.

Don’t be naive.
If not for fraud and theft the entire gov’t would not exist.

I’ll be voting in the upcoming election. I don’t bother researching the candidates or their claimed platforms, because they lie like they breathe.
I vote against the Democratic candidates, because they’ve explicitly declared themselves the enemies of the Constitution and my civil rights (it’s on their web page). To be fair, the Republicans aren’t much better, but at least they don’t rub it in my face.
The Republican senator for my district is a shitweasel, and it’s going to take a big dose of Pepto-Bismol to cast that vote. (local regulations requires a vote on all candidates and issues; “incomplete” ballots are rejected)
If there are two pols from the same party running for the same position – don’t laugh, it happens here – I vote against the incumbent. He already had his turn at the trough.
If there are any bills which require levying or raising taxes or fees, I vote no, no matter what their justification is. They have more than enough money already; if they want something, they can shuffle it from pocket to pocket instead of dipping deeper into my pocket.
Anything that looks like it will give the state or local governments more power, I vote no. They have more than enough already.
Sometimes issues come up that don’t involve money. I take the time to read the synopses as printed and make a decision, fully aware that those synopses are often carefully crafted to look like they say one thing, but actually say something else, even if they seem pretty clear.

Food stamp fraud has been going on as long as I have been noticing things, I’m 60. It was no where near what is going on today, but in rural NC you could get about 50 cents on a dollar and they came in coupon books. Even today many small rural stores don’t scan items, they ring them up hint hint, nudge nudge.
