“A Florida sheriff says using deadly force in a carjacking is justified — even if the suspect isn’t armed.” A car is a deadly weapon and sheriff Judd is wrong when he talks about a suspect stealing a car as unarmed. Don’t get in front of someone in a car that’s trying to get out of the station. IMO, of course, but people who have been run over by car sure look worse than someone who got punched.

I will never understand people who defend criminals and thug like behavior.
The reason that we have so much crime is that we tolerate it.
Our “justice system” is a sick joke that is a revolving door and the same people commit crime after crime and the cops arrest them then the DA and the criminal’s taxpayer funded shyster lawyer “work a deal”, gets a slap in the wrist and then is back on the streets.
If you have a local paper, look at the jail intake every day. It’s common to see someone arrested who has like 6 felony convictions and like 15 serious misdemeanor convictions.
