In an earlier post, I thought that counterfeit vaccine cards were the way to go. It turns out that I was wrong.
The FBI is going after counterfeit cards using 18 USC 1017. Here is what the law says:
Whoever fraudulently or wrongfully affixes or impresses the seal of any department or agency of the United States, to or upon any certificate, instrument, commission, document, or paper or with knowledge of its fraudulent character, with wrongful or fraudulent intent, uses, buys, procures, sells, or transfers to another any such certificate, instrument, commission, document, or paper, to which or upon which said seal has been so fraudulently affixed or impressed, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
18USC1017
If you use an appropriated card that has the CDC seal on it before you get it, it seems to me that you are not the one who affixed or impressed the seal on the document. It doesn’t matter, of course. They will try to chuck you in prison. It is up to each person to decide for themselves if it is better to let them inject you, be a pariah, or risk prison.

The falsified documents of the enemy used by the average citizen to continue to live and move about in some semblance of freedom are well worth any “risk” of arrest. I mean really, what minimum wage dolt at the door to an establishment requiring proof of the “not-a-vax” is ever gonna know?
I think you should have two bogus cards, one with a real name and birthday and one completely made up. Use the made up one on a daily basis to gain entry, use the real one for your employer when they threaten to fire you.

It wouldnt be hard to alter the CDC logo enough that it’s no longer the logo, but still looks like it at a quick glance. (Assuming you are printing your own card and not stealing one)
If my fake vaccine card doesnt have the CDC logo on it, then they are going to have to find a different law to charge me under….

Several states distributed a PDF from the CDC early on. This was done officially and legally because cards were in short supply.
Are all of those people now breaking the law? Is use of that official electronic document a crime?

First commenter makes a good point. My thinking: using a falsified card to gain entry to a fast food eatery or Wank-Mart (if presenting such proof is a thing in your AO) is likely safe enough for now. Better off just avoiding those places though, because they suck. If presenting to enter a gov’t facility (court house, office building, whatever else) or a hospital, probably not so much There is likely higher scrutiny and possibly an active link to a database that can and will be cross checked in those venues. Would you present a fake ID at the liquor store or a hotel that charges by the hour? Ok, now how about to a cop? Uh huh.
That having been said, shit’s falling apart at an exponentially rapid rate now. With the new deadly embarassment of Afghanistan blowing up the PR of the americant gov’t, and they’ve got egg on their face. Well, except kamala, she has…something else dripping off her chin. Thus, we may soon have an event that makes covid and it’s myriad policy bullshit passé. Won’t be much interest in checking cards or railroading forgers when there are real extinction level event crises breaking out daily.
Won’t be much interest in or capability to maintain the media theatre that enables the branch covidians tyranny either, as much bigger fuckups yet to come suck the oxygen out of the room, so to speak. This is just about the part where I say “Smoke em if ya got em.”

just put some info on a 3×5 card and identify as vaccinated…

Meh. Mine’s obviously covered under free speech / parody laws. The name on the card says “GO FUCK YOURSELF”. I don’t think anyone would believe for an instant that it was a real card. It doesn’t even have vaccination information filled in.

IANAL, but the law DOES say that it must be used with wrongful or fraudulent intent in order to be a violation of the law, so I think that you would be covered there.
