Because of the new terms from Pay Pal, I have closed my Venmo account.

I understand closing the pay pal account and I’m closing mine as well… even though I haven’t used it for years. Is Venmo going down the same woke path of pay pal?

    Venmo is owned by Paypal

Closed my PayPal as soon as I read of the impending rules. 24 hours later they issued a whoops, we didn’t really mean it “clarification. Bullshit. They just weren’t prepared for what has been reported as a massive backlash. They meant it.

Somewhere it was suggested to use Gab Pay as an alternative, but when I checked it out, it appears it is still primarily geared towards P2P, not necessarily a purchasing tool for online shopping. Are vendors accepting it as a method of payment?

It will take some effort for me to close …I pay several of my bills through PayPal, but those terms are not acceptable to me.

It’s unfortunate…PayPal credit is really convenient with 6 months same as cash. And so many merchants accept it as payment.

So I see they have the ability for merchants….but will be awhile before before usage is widespread.

Let them know. The more people asking a merchant whether they take a given payment method, the more likely the merchant is to adopt it.
