A woman is arrested after she holds two kids at gunpoint because they were fishing in the pond behind her house, saying: “If someone goes in your back yard, you can blow their fucking heads off.”

Of course she is wrong, but judging by the accent, this is another Yankee liberal who thinks that the south is filled with gun toting, ignorant rednecks who shoot everything that moves. It turns out that the kids were 15 and 13 year old brothers who were just fishing, and the boys weren’t even on her property. The ignorant Yankee? She was armed with a pellet gun. That still won’t protect this moron from the law- pointing a gun at someone while threatening to kill them is a felony- even if the gun isn’t loaded or real.

Even worse- she threatened to kill two kids for FISHING.

Stop New Yorking my Florida.

I’m over at Okeechobee surrounded by fellow midwesterners. I suspect these guys would just ask “are they biting?”. I forgot about our contingent of Quebecois- they would probably wave their arms and rattle away in french.

I flipped my boat in a high wind and washed up on the shore of private property. Since Texas is overrun with yankees and other foreigners I was worried about crossing without trouble. Turns out the place was owned by a Texan who actually helped me get back to civilization. But you never know these days.

Them carpetbaggers are everywhere. In the 80’s they flooded metro Atlanta to the point it was rapidly becoming south Boston. I moved further out into the boonies, but damn if they ain’t moving here also.

2 years ago, I sold a piece of land I had bought in the Georgia mountains as a probable retirement home. I sold it because the area was getting overrun by “half backs”.Yankees who had moved to Florida, but decided that they didn’t like the humidity, or alligators that would eat poor ole Spot, or high insurance cost’s, or the governor, or many other “reasons”. They left Florida, didn’t want to go back to the frozen tundra, so moved halfway back, north Georgia, east Tennessee, western North Carolina.

I would bet more than a couple of those invaders have had a “come to Jesus’ moment or two, because those mountain folks don’t play. Start waving around a weapon of any type and ranting in your New York twang, you better be wearing level 4 plates head to toe. And those mountain clans have been practicing the 3 S’s since forever. “I reckon a bear musta ate yer wife, hate yer luck”.

Please would everyone STOP using the term liberal. There are no liberals anymore. Anyone who is a Democrat, votes for Democrats or supports ANY Democrat cause is a commie not a liberal, period.

During my 35 years on this property, I have never had to remove (or hold) anyone at gunpoint after they’ve trespassed to fish on our pond. I could however write a paperback on the lame excuses I’ve gotten.

“I have permission from the owner”. Wrong, I AM the owner.

“This is a community pond.” Wrong. What community? This is a secluded 25 acre parcel.

“I live right down the road.” Wrong, you’re still trespassing on posted property.

SMH….

WDS, did ya whack them for lying? I would. By whack, I mean cuff them upside the head or maybe slap a shovel across their backside. With a warning, Don’t you ever lie again.
Lying is just below thieving in my book. The LORD allows no such distinction.

Stock up on FAFO medals.
One day that sort of jackass will meet someone carrying fishing gear and a real gun, and things will get sporty in a hurry.

At least, that’s the fond hope.
More incidents like that would lead to less incidents like that, and Darwinian Selection would run the table.
