Two people inside a box truck tried to force their way onto Quantico Marine Corps Base. Multiple sources report one of the individuals inside the truck is a Jordanian foreign national who recently crossed the southern border into the U.S., and that one of the occupants is on the U.S. terrorist watch list.
Two days after the incident at Quantico, a vehicle crashed into an outer perimeter gate of the White House in Washington, D.C., resulting in the death of the driver.
Less than a week earlier than the Quantico incident at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek–Fort Story in Virginia on Sunday, April 28, a driver attempted to breach security protocols at the installation’s gate and crashed into a the vehicle denial barricade. (I used to live less than a mile from that gate, on Pleasure House Road.)
I was going to do a post on the Trump charges in New York. I had all sorts of stuff lined up to show that Trump is being accused of what would be misdemeanors (and thus outside of the NY statute of limitations) except that the state is alleging that the misdemeanors were done to conceal another crime, which makes them a felony and is covered by a longer statute of limitations. The only issue here is that the indictment doesn’t mention what other crime he was trying to cover up that raised this indictment to the level of a felony.
Then it occurred to me that none of that matters. This trial is in leftist controlled Manhattan, where the facts don’t matter, all that matters is Orange man bad. The followers of this anti-Trump cult don’t know the law, don’t care what the Constitution says, and most of them are frankly slobbering retarded morons who only care about Trump being opposed to their view that we can’t know what a woman is. The left has the ability to understand reason and the law about as well as my spoon understands the difference between mint chocolate chip and rocky road.
Presenting them with facts and evidence on gun control is met with remarks about penis size. Talking about case law is like banging your head against a wall. Talking simply won’t work with them.
So you believe that putting your freedom into the State Plaintiffs hands doesn't deserve a defense when the defendant is looking at jail time? That is utter nonsense.

I know that summer in the northern hemisphere begins on the longest day of the year. Summer here in Central Florida, as far as I am concerned, begins when the low temperature for the day is 75 degF (24 C for those of you outside of the US). We hit that point this past week. Our morning low was 74.9 degF, and the dewpoint was right at the same temperature. The high was 92 degF (33 degC) today.
The reason for this, is that the low temperature can’t go any lower than the dew point. At that point, any further energy lost from the atmosphere is spent condensing water vapor, not reducing the temperature. When the dewpoint is at that point, the air starts becoming thick and the afternoon rains begin. If you have ever been in Central Florida during the summer, you know that it rains virtually every afternoon. That’s where we are now. Summer is here.
The dew point temperature is the temperature at which the air can no longer hold all of its water vapor, and some of the water vapor must condense into liquid water. At 100% relative humidity, the dew point temperature and the air temperature are the same, and clouds or fog can begin to form. While relative humidity is a relative measure of how humid it is, the dew point temperature is an absolute measure of how much water vapor is in the air (how humid it is). In very warm, humid conditions, the dew point temperature can reach 75 to 77 degrees F, but rarely exceeds 80 degrees.
Dew point is the best indicator of comfort in a hot climate. Once the dew point of the air exceeds 66 degrees Fahrenheit or so, the air begins to feel hot and uncomfortably stuffy. The reason for this is that your perspiration can not evaporate to cool you off.
The dewpoint here will slowly increase from now until summer breaks in late September. The people who live here know that anything needing to be done outside between May and September is best done before 11 am, when the thermometer typically breaks 90 degF. It isn’t the temperature, it’s the dew point.
Here in Florida, there are 4 seasons:
Hot: March through May F’ing Hot (Also known as Hurricane season): June through mid September Still Hot: Mid September through Mid November Snow Bird: Mid November through February
Beginning in mid June, you get your outside work done in the morning then stay in the air conditioning until at least 4:30 in the afternoon when the afternoon thunderstorms come calling. That is what we do from mid June until about the middle of September.
Donald Trump is under a court order that prohibits him from speaking about, well, pretty much anything. The stated reason for this order is to prevent Trump from exercising undue influence on the outcome of the trial. The witnesses in the Trump case, the judge’s wife, and the prosecutor are not under similar restrictions. The reason for this is simple- the court is trying to railroad Donald Trump.

The left has all of its minions singing in unison that Trump’s free speech rights aren’t being infringed upon because he still has the ability to speak under oath from the witness stand. That’s ridiculous. No one has to give up their Fifth Amendment rights in order to exercise their First Amendment rights.
The left claims that, since Trump is on trial, the only place that he should be permitted to speak is on the witness stand as a witness against himself. As I have been saying, this is a show trial that is designed to destroy Joe Biden’s opponent, and ensure that Biden serves another term. If this were happening in any other nation, the US would be screaming to all who would listen that the elections were being tampered with.
Trump should continue violating the gag order. Dare the court to toss you in jail on contempt charges, then have your PR apparatus scream on every single media outlet about Joe Biden jailing his political opponent. It will raise Trump’s popularity numbers and destroy Joe Biden’s.
The response from Washington would probably also be the spark that begins CW2.
“Just following orders” didn’t work for concentration camp guards, and it shouldn’t work here, either. They know that what they are doing is wrong, yet they do it anyway.
