So I guess the Democrats passing gun laws is finally worrying people. My search for an M&P45 began on Friday and expanded as the weekend went on. I called or visited every gun shop within twenty miles of my house. No luck. I checked online vendors: PSA, Brownell’s, BudsGunShop, RKGuns, and others. Still no luck. Then I checked other places: Bass Pro, Gander Mountain, Shoot Straight. Nope.
I turned to Arms List. A place on there had one, but the store was a pawnshop more than 200 miles away from my house. They won’t ship.
So I thought that maybe a Glock 21 wouldn’t be so bad. I started over. The only Glock 21 I could find was over $700. Nope.
I broke down and called the South Florida pawnshop and bought it over the phone. As it turns out, my wife and I are taking a road trip to go get it. I just haven’t told her yet. I will have to bribe her with some other activity that we can do while down there. Or I will have to wait until a day I have off and she doesn’t, then go by myself. Cost? $550, plus a 400 mile road trip to go get it.

How not to sell a gun
I was just at a local gun store. I walked up to the Smith and Wesson section of the store, and stood in line behind a couple who were looking for a handgun. They obviously knew very little about handguns, and the sales guy didn’t know much more.
Every pistol he handed them from the case, they immediately grabbed it with their finger on the trigger. No one checked to ensure the gun was loaded before sweeping half of the customers in the store. The woman declared that she wanted a Glock. The husband responded, “Well, that isn’t what we are getting.” She then pointed (at an E-Z) and said that she wanted that one. He replied that he wanted (pointing at a full sized) this other one. This went on for 5 minutes. They walked away without getting anything.
Then I asked if they had an M&P45. He said that all they had was what was in the case. Now since this particular store has several locations, I asked if he could check to see if the other locations had any. He said, “I can’t see their inventory from here.” Uh- you can’t call?
Anyhow, I am in search of a full sized M&P45. All I can find anywhere is the Shield, and I already have one of those. Anyone know where I can get one in Central Florida? I would prefer paying less than $550.

This week, my wife was notified by her employer that the vaccine is voluntary. However, if she refuses to take the vaccine and is either exposed to or catches COVID, she will not be permitted to take sick leave during her two week quarantine and MUST take the time off WITHOUT pay.
This is how they will enforce the vaccine mandate- they will make it impossible to participate in society without it. Unless you are an illegal immigrant. Then you are good to go.

A Federal judge in Ohio ruled that the CDC’s ban on evictions exceeds its authority, but also refused to block the CDC from enforcing it.
The Marshall court once wrote “A Law repugnant to the Constitution is void.” If the CDC doesn’t have the power to block evictions, then why not block it? Our courts are useless. They have been cowed into being subservient to the leviathan.
