Effective Gun Ban

We all know that the Democrats want a 1,000% tax on assault weapons. This law is very broad and will tax most guns out of existence (pdf warning):

semiautomatic rifles that have the capacity to use a magazine that isn’t a fixed magazine, and any one of the following:

  • a pistol grip,
  • a forward grip,
  • folding, telescoping, or detachable stock.
  • a barrel shroud,
  • a threaded barrel,
  • a “functional grenade launcher.”

Or a semiautomatic rifle that has a fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds, except for an attached tubular device designed to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition.

any semiautomatic pistol that has the capacity to use a magazine that isn’t a fixed magazine, and any one of the following:

  • a threaded barrel
  • a second pistol grip (these are already NFA weapons. I don’t know what effect this law will have)
  • a barrel shroud
  • the capacity for inserting the magazine anywhere outside of the pistol grip (such as the CZ Scorpion and other PDWs)
  • if it looks like a machine gun
  • weighs more than 50 ounces (this is obviously aimed at AR pistols)
  • a Stabilizing brace
  • a buffer tube (again, aimed at AR pistols)

The tax will also apply to any ammunition magazine, belt, drum, etc. that holds more than 10 rounds of ammo, but specifically excludes fixed tubular .22LR magazines.

Plus a bunch of other stuff. Then it goes on to charge the tax on any of the frames, parts of the firearms covered, and parts of magazines. This is, in effect, a ban most firearms and their parts by taxing them into oblivion. Essentially the same thing that happened with the NFA. The only firearms that seem exempt are bolt, lever action, and rimfire.

Imagine a basic AR-15 that costs $11,000 and using $110 magazines.

Since it is a tax, the Senate doesn’t even have to vote on it. It can be passed through budget reconciliation.

Stupid Game Article

“Call of Duty has more gun control than the US” is the headline. I think it shows how real gun control, such as red flag laws, work:

  • A person in authority decides that they don’t like how you are behaving yourself
  • He takes away your guns
  • No appeal or defense is permitted
  • Someone sees that your are defenseless and murders you

White=Less Rights

The Washington Supreme Court issued an opinion stating that people who are not white get more rights than people who are white. The reasoning?

the relevance of race and ethnicity in the seizure inquiry cannot turn on whether there has been recent, well-publicized discrimination and violence by law enforcement directed at individuals of the same race or ethnicity as the allegedly seized person. Instead, we must be cognizant that for generations, black and brown parents have given their children “the talk”—instructing them never to run down the street; always keep your hands where they can be seen; do not even think of talking back to a stranger—all out of fear of how an officer with a gun will react to them.

So the court is saying that because minority parents tell their children that cops will kill them for no reason, the standard for a cop asking “BIPOC” people for ID is higher than it is for whites.

It is now the law in Washington State- whites have fewer constitutional rights than other races. For that reason, I am adding all of Washington state to Zone 5. If you are white, you no longer have the same rights as others in Washington state. It is therefore no longer a part of the United States and whites are unpersons.

The next step historically is a decree forcing all Jews Whites to transfer retail businesses to Aryan BIPOC hands. The boxcars and camps follow soon thereafter.

This is a textbook violation of the 14th Amendment’s equal protection clause, but my bet is that it won’t matter.

I Should Know Better

Here is the online discussion I am in:

Rando Karen: Get rid of all the automatic weapons there is no need for them. You certainly don’t need them to hunt & you’re not taking away the 2nd amendment right. If the house & the senate don’t pass this kind of a bill then maybe they don’t need their jobs. Let’s vote in those that will pass a bill that makes sense to the American people & get rid of those that want to lobby with the NRA & spend our hard earned tax dollars.

DM: How is that splitting hairs? The OP said outlaw automatic weapons. No one is selling any.

AR: Semi automatic is still automatic. It also doesn’t say “fully automatic” which is what you’re erroneously running away with.

DM: Wrong. Automatic means that the firearm fires more than one shot with each function of the trigger. Semi-automatic means one shot is fired with each function of the trigger. Important difference. There is no “fully automatic” in the law or in mechanics. That is a term invented by people who don’t know what they are talking about.

Criminals Running the Place

Congresswoman Corrine Brown was convicted of fraud and tax evasion for running a fraudulent children’s charity and then using the money for her own benefit. She was sentenced to five years in Federal prison. She was let out after only two because of COVID.

Her conviction was later overturned because a juror told the judge that God came to her in a dream and said the congresswoman was innocent, so he replaced her.

Before she could be tried again, she reached a plea deal to plead guilty to one charge of tax evasion.

Now a convicted felon, she is running for office again. Many blacks will vote for her, because for all of the talk that we hear about wanting to eliminate racism, she is black.

Price Controls Coming?

Biden is going after oil company profits, blaming them for the rising fuel prices that have been caused by his policies. Russians, Republicans, oil companies, it is everyone else’s fault that his socialist policies are failing. Isn’t that always the case when communism and socialism fail? They didn’t do it right? Or something?

At any rate, he has demanded that they slash profits and make more fuel. This is impossible, of course. US refineries are already at 96% of capacity, and it would take years to build new refinery capacity, even if the Democrats would grant the permits. In fact, oil companies will likely not build another refinery in the US, ever. Since the west has stopped buying Russian fuel, the refineries that are remaining just can’t keep up.

Instead, the left will continue to blame oil company profits. Look for price controls to come next. Perhaps a Biden EO nationalizing the oil industry. Or a 100% tax on oil company profits, or perhaps they will come up with something else that is even less likely to work, but more likely to screw things up more. Why?

That’s what socialists/communists do.

Nerds

Some nerds decided to program a computer to act like Ginsberg so they could get its opinion on abortion. Next up, they will program AI to be the founding fathers, so it can tell us how horrified they all would be that the Second Amendment is being used to protect “assault weapons.”

There is nothing magical about AI. It is a computer, programmed by people, and that program can easily reflect the biases of the people who programmed it. Or does the left expect us to believe that AI is correct when it has decreed whites to be a master race…

Targeting White Men

Police are targeting a truck meet:

An unsanctioned truck meet over the weekend in Daytona Beach Shores resulted in 688 issued traffic citations and 46 trucks towed, as well as multiple misdemeanor and felony arrests. Law enforcement prepared for the event by utilizing the city’s new zero-tolerance policy for traffic infractions and designating The Shores as a Special Event Zone in which fines are doubled for noncriminal traffic infractions and loud noises are banned near private residences.

Why? Because white men are those who are most well known for driving pickups. You can bet your ass that any rally involving black stereotypes will be carefully left alone. You know, like BCR. We know this because the police have a specific web page highlighting how they won’t racially profile.
