Last night, I saw a story about a shooting that happened at a Rhode Island high school hockey game. Since the game was being livestreamed, it was caught on video. Early stories were that it was a husband who killed his wife, shot his kids, and then himself as a result of what was referred to as a “family dispute.” There were also rumors that the source of the family dispute was that dad had decided that he was, after all, a woman, and the wife took offense to that and wanted a divorce.
Since reports were sketchy on the identity of the shooter and I couldn’t verify the information, I decided not to post about it last night. Police were giving few details, and the press was reporting even fewer. Finally, someone decided to break with the narrative and report what happened.
The suspected shooter, who police say took their own life after opening fire, appeared to target family members during the incident, two law enforcement officials who have been briefed on the situation tell CNN. Police have said the investigation is ongoing.
Police identified the suspected shooter as Robert K. Dorgan, who Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves said went by the name of Roberta Esposito.
Now that the identity of the shooter can be verified, I post this picture of him:

The left is angry (aren’t they always?) because Oklahoma University has suspended one of its professors. Why was he suspended? He gave an assignment to his class on transgenderism. The assignment was a 650-word essay reacting to an article about how people are perceived based on societal expectations of gender.
In her essay, Samantha Fulnecky argued that traditional gender roles should not be considered stereotypes. She cited the Bible to support her stance that eliminating gender in society would be “detrimental” because that would put people “farther from God’s original plan for humans.”
She received a zero on the assignment, not because she didn’t conform to the rubric, but because she didn’t conform to the professor’s opinion. The assignment doesn’t even require the students to be on topic or to apply anything they’re learning from the curriculum to the topic, but rather just to have read and reacted to the article. The grading standard for the assignment was 25 points, based upon the following criteria:
- The paper shows a clear tie in to the assigned article (10 points)
- The paper shows a thoughtful reaction to the article, rather than just a summary of what it said (10 points)
- That the paper was clearly written(5 points)

In my opinion, the student DID have a clear tie in, so 10 points there. I would have given probably 7 points on the thoughtful reaction, and perhaps a 2 out of 5 for the last point, because the paper was poorly organized and had some errors in punctuation and format, not to mention that she apparently doesn’t know what a paragraph is. Still, that would have been 19/25, or a 76%, which is solid C.
Ms. Fulnecky responded to the zero she received by filing a complaint for religious discrimination. The professor was suspended and the student’s grade was restored. As it should have been. She did the assignment, and should not be penalized for having an opinion that differed from the professor’s.
The professor gave her a low grade, but he was the one who made an error. I was a teacher for a few years, and I would occasionally give writing assignments just like this one. I would grade the papers based upon their use of logic, writing skill, and proper use of source material. I didn’t care which side of the issue the paper took, as long as it was well written. My mantra was that teachers are here to teach you HOW to think, but not to teach you WHAT to think. This professor isn’t doing that.
Look, the professor asked for a paper on students’ opinions. An opinion piece is just that- an opinion that isn’t based in facts. Some things just aren’t meant to be based upon facts. Some arguments are intractable ā issues of personal taste or the subjective importance of certain values cannot be resolved empirically. In an argument like that, once both sides have expressed themselves as clearly as possible, if there is still no agreement then there is nothing left to do but acknowledge there is a disagreement, and leave it at that.
If I am holding a flamethrower and you are holding a lit match, it is true that we can both start fires, but pretending that we can just āagree to disagreeā about which is better suited to the task of lighting a candle is nonsense. Had this student made such an argument, she would have been wrong, and deserved the grade she received.
In this case, you are asking students to argue about whether or not we should eliminate the position that a person born with DNA and genitals of a particular sex can be whatever sex or gender that they choose, not just forever, but changing on a day to day basis based upon that person’s feelings on that particular moment. Then you are asking them to apply logic to this, but only the logic of which you personally approve.
This professor deserves what they are getting.

The Federal judges ruled that the school was within their rights to kick the fathers out of the game.

Yesterday, we saw a story about cops refusing to get involved when a crime was committed. The list of cops claiming that they can’t get involved in a “civil matter” rears its head again.
In this case, the police refused to get involved when a teacher and her wife were housing a teen who either ran away or was enticed to leave the house after she argued with her mother in December. They mother located the child, who was 17 at the time, at the home of the child’s teacher. The police were called on January 5. The police refused to return the child to her parent’s custody. The police refused to get involved, saying that the child was not in distress and could not be compelled to leave the premises. The point is a moot one now, as the child turned 18 on March 25.
In a video produced by the Colorado Parent Advocacy Network, Stein [the child’s mother] said she believes āJoann Smotherman [the teacher] is responsible for my broken daughter thinking that all of her problems are because sheās truly a boy.ā
This is why these faggots want access to your kids- they are being groomed to become the sexual playthings of these crazy trannies. The police are saying that anyone can interfere with parental custody and that isn’t a crime in Colorado, as long as the kid enjoys it.
JoAnn Smotherman, in a brief interview, said she met the teen while teaching. In a statement, the couple said the teen had fled a ādangerous environmentā and reached out to supportive networks.
āThis was not about his gender,ā the Smothermans wrote. āIt was about compassion. It was about protecting a vulnerable young person when no one else would. We did not seek him out. We did not groom him. We offered safety, food, and support while he found his footing and began building a life on his own terms. That is not a crime. That is what decent people do.ā
That is exactly what grooming is. You convinced this impressionable child that she was actually a boy, turned her against her mother, and then convinced her to come live with you.
There comes a point where there will be a price to be paid. If the police can’t protect children, the parents will have to. I know that I will never be on a jury for a case like this, if for no other reason than the existence of this blog, but I I ever was, I will never vote to convict anyone who uses force to rescue their child from one of these monsters.
With the police not doing anything, despite the fact that this teacher kidnapped a child, I am afraid that we will have to add Durango to Zone 2, political violence that is being sanctioned by government officials.

A couple of events this week show how the left communists are still engaged in violent warfare against everyone who doesn’t agree with them.
In the first case, we have a tranny who attacked students on campus at UT Dallas by swinging a bike lock on the end of a cable, striking a young woman in the head. That’s right- a crazed man committed an armed battery on a young lady, whose only crime was daring to speak out for women’s rights. The worst part? It isn’t the first violent attack carried out by this man.
This attack was a deadly force incident. Swinging objects like skateboards, bike locks, or clubs are going to get a lethal response from me.
The second case also occurred on a college campus- this time in UNC Asheville. A table of pro-life students were attacked by a leftist student who screamed “I fucking hate you!” While accusing them of being fascists.
The student was identified as Adrian Miguelez, a candidate for student council.
The leftists keep up with their campaign of violence. I won’t be a victim, and this is why I am armed.

Administrators then supervised the locker room to ensure that all girls were changing into their physical education clothes without protest, [one of the girls’ parents] claimed.
The school board meeting was attended by a large group of faggots who shouted down the parents and silenced them.

The number one duty of a parent is to protect their children. Violate my daughter, and we have a problem. Let me correct that, violate my daughter and YOU have a problem. That is sexual assault in my book, and there would be consequences for that.
