This video is worth a few minutes of your time
If it wasn’t for the fact that I believe the BLM/Antifa protests will end with a Federal police force that is even more authoritarian than the one we have now, videos like this would make me happy to see the police getting into hot water.
This is a situation that the police have created for themselves.
A cop is fired and arrested for falsifying evidence. This is why I am opposed to the death penalty. Anyone who has been arrested by this cop needs to demand a new trial, or demand that his charges be dropped.
Just a few bad apples, though. Don’t think Federal cops would do any better. This is why the founders wanted government small and weak.
Way back in 2008, I wrote on my blog about the threat that the Patriot act posed to this country. Less than a year later, I warned people that President Obama was expanding the definition of ‘terrorist’ so he could use his powers under the Patriot Act against the right.
As far back as 2009, then President Obama went so far as to say that veterans of the US military were a potential terrorist threat. Some Veterans’ groups even defended the President’s statements.
Glen M. Gardner Jr., national commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, disputed claims that Homeland Security analysts were describing veterans as terror threats.
“The report should have been worded differently, but it made no blanket accusation that every soldier was capable of being a traitor like Benedict Arnold, or every veteran could be a lone wolf, homegrown terrorist like Timothy McVeigh,” said Gardner, a Marine veteran from Round Rock, Texas. “It was just an assessment about possibilities that could take place.”
It wasn’t long after that when President Obama declared that American citizens could be targeted for assassination without trial, as long as he declared them to be terrorists. Here is what was said at the time:
The director of national intelligence affirmed rather bluntly today that the U.S. intelligence community has authority to target American citizens for assassination if they present a direct terrorist threat to the United States. According to U.S. officials, only a handful of Americans would be eligible for targeting by U.S. intelligence or military operations. The legal guidance is determined by the National Security Council and the Justice Department.
It wasn’t just veterans- Christians were also targeted with the terrorist label. Those warnings went unheeded.
We didn’t have to wait long to see things escalate. Here we are, under the very next Democratic President, and veterans are again the enemy. The press is touting the danger. The President is claiming that police and veterans are white supremacists who pose a terror threat to the country.
So what is he going to do about it? A hint lies across the Pacific, in China. The Chinese government has been training its computer hackers to develop exploits that it can use against its citizens and other nations. It has done so by prohibiting its hackers from international competition. This tactic was used to great effect in tracking down Uyghur Muslims, sending them to camps, and generally being the asshoe that it is.
Back in January, Biden hired a former GWOT spook to head up his use of government power in the planned war on the right. The idea is Orwellian. Picture this: The government is prohibited from searching your home without a warrant. It says so, right there in the Bill of Rights. The brilliant idea they come up with is to hire a burglar to break into your house, steal your papers, and then give them to the police. That is part of the brilliant plan.
The government’s position is that they are free to hire people under contract to circumvent the protections of the Constitution, and as long as those people are not actually on the government payroll, this is completely constitutional. No sane court would uphold that idea. So of course, they need to pack the court.
They are using private companies as well as government agencies- the post office and Internet providers, for example, to spy on Americans. Just like the Chinese are doing.
Once that is done, well ANYTHING is permissible. After all, those evil veterans are all white supremacists, they are demented, and they deserve whatever happens to them, according to the President’s own comments in February. Read it for yourself, here is a link to the transcript:
And you see what’s happening, the studies that are beginning to be done, maybe at your university as well, about the impact of former military, former police officers, on — on the growth of white supremacy in some of these groups.
You may remember, in one of my debates with the former president, I asked him to condemn the Proud Boys and he wouldn’t do it. He said “Stand by,” stand ready, or whatever the phrase exactly was.
It is a bane on our existence. It has always been. As Lincoln said, we have to appeal to our better angels, and these guys are not — and women — are, in fact, demented. They are dangerous people.
When I said 12 years ago that the powers from the war on terror would be used against American citizens, I was told it couldn’t happen. Now I am warning you that drone strikes, summary executions, and concentration camps are coming. Please listen this time, before it is too late.
A woman records cops who are arresting her son. The cops claim that the act of recording them in a public place while they are carrying out the public’s business and collecting a public paycheck is somehow obstructing their investigation.
An appeals court in Palm Beach County Florida agreed. According to the court, recording the cops should be illegal.
Frankly, that bothers me.
Americans continue their record pace of firearm buying. In April, sales of firearms were up even though handgun sales were down. This means that the difference was long guns. The exact guns Biden is claiming he wants to ban.
I am sure that every one of the 2 million firearms sold last month will be turned in once a ban goes into effect.
Not only will they destroy people who cross the goals of the left, but anyone who dares defend them from the mob will be destroyed as well. They are making lists, and will destroy anyone who they deem worthy of destruction.
So now they are going to destroy the reputation of the defense expert witness from the Chauvin trial. Once they are done with him, any cop accused by the left will have no chance of being able to defend themselves, because no lawyer or witness will dare come forward.
This sets the stage for what communists always do. They engage in show trials before shipping people off to the gulag.
There is also a south Florida cop who was a Sergeant and member of SWAT that was using his police powers to force women to have sex in order to avoid arrest. In that case, five different women came forward (one of whom a police cadet he got pregnant, ending her career) and said that he had raped them.
In the case of the cadet, the woman was a student where the cop was working as an instructor. They were having an affair, and she got pregnant. The rest of the class urged her to come forward and tell the academy. She did. After that, our amorous Sergeant told the class that he had enough pull to make sure none of them got hired unless the pregnant cadet recanted. Under pressure, she did.
He then bragged that he was protected by a fellow cop in the Internal Affairs division that he was also sleeping with. It didn’t hurt that his father was a chief of police (now retired).
No one would do anything until the Feds stepped in. It took four years. One thing that slowed it down was much of the evidence against him was kept in an evidence room that his police chief father had access to, and much of that evidence remains missing. In all, a total of 7,877 evidence and property items are missing, including 19 weapons, 177 valuables, 19 bikes and 44 items from the narcotics cage.
This appears to be a crime family. The police chief father was alleged to have ties to a drug kingpin, and the chief’s brother (who worked for Miami PD) was an “inside man” who was assisting in the smuggling of drugs into South Florida.
The charges against the son for his sexcapades were filed in December of 2019. It is still tied up in court, and he is a free man. He is still working for the police department, but in a desk job in the communications division.
Here is a song I have heard before. Cops caught issuing traffic citations to people that were never pulled over. In one case, the motorist had received 10 bogus traffic tickets. Another woman had received 6 bogus traffic tickets in a single month.
Also don’t forget the South Florida cops who took cover behind a family while engaged in a shootout.
I don’t think the issue is that cops need defunding. I think that we need fewer laws, and the laws that we do have shouldn’t be set up to be funding sources for greedy politicians.
The Chauvin case is over, and there are already talks of making appeals to the courts. After all, there is no doubt that the trial could not have been a fair one. Peter at Bayou Renaissance Man lays it all out– there are more than enough grounds to file an appeal. There is no doubt that Chauvin cannot get a fair trial in this country. That conviction should be overturned. But that won’t happen. That was the old USA. The one that no longer exists.
The mood in the country is such that any court overturning the conviction would virtually guarantee court packing, term limits for SCOTUS, or some other tampering with our courts. For that reason, the courts have been subverted and will forever bow to the demands of the left. Think that’s not realistic? Let me point out that just six months ago, we still believed in fair elections.
Our constitutional government is dead, and has been since November. This is the USSA. Expect even more show trials. George Zimmerman is as good as dead.
By now, the entire country knows that Chauvin was found guilty of simultaneously accidentally and purposely killing George Floyd. Anyone paying attention knew that this would happen. Why? Because potential jury member likely to view the case on its merits and give Chauvin a fair trial stayed far, far away from this case and its potential for doxxing and mob violence against any jury that acquitted Chauvin. This left only the jurors who would vote guilty either out of revenge or a sense of self preservation.
Even though most of my readers knew the outcome of this trial before it even started, the question is: “What effect will this have on the country?” To answer that question, all we have to do is listen to the people in charge.
The NAACP says that policing is going to change. I concur.
A former NYC police commissioner says “We still have a long way to go, but the death of Mr. Floyd will accelerate and make much more comprehensive that process of change, and you see it already in the sense of the president of the United States, the vice president, tonight, speaking out in support of the legislation they’ve filed.”
Speaking of the Biden administration- they applauded the verdict, then proposed legislation that effectively destroys law enforcement in this country. I can hear some of you cheering now, but if you think that this will in any way make us more free or be good for the country, you haven’t been paying attention for the past year. Oh- most telling of all is the fact that the law does not apply to Military Police, the US Army Criminal Investigation Command, or to Federal Protective Details. I wonder why that could be…
All of this tells me that I was correct- we are seeing steps to destroy policing in this country so that it can be replaced with a Federal Police Force. Perhaps they can call it the “National Keep Violence Down” force. The abbreviation is cool, too: NKVD.
It is plain that things are going to continue to get uglier as time goes on. Keep your powder dry and your batteries charged.
