First it was our founding fathers who were canceled. Then it was civil war figures. Now it is scientists being canceled for things they did more than 60 years ago.

The first thing that came to mind when I read this article was, “$20,000 to be a barber?”

Michael Woods, a special education teacher in Palm Beach County, said legislators and parents are looking for a “solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.”

“Teachers do not go out of their way to create these moments where we’re ‘indoctrinating’ students,” said Woods, who is gay. “If I could indoctrinate a student, it would be to bring a pencil and a piece of paper, and if I was really good at ‘indoctrinating,’ I would be able to get them to do their homework.”

Teachers not indoctrinating? You look at a picture of him in his classroom and tell me what you think he is doing…

Now the lawsuits are arriving about Florida’s parental rights bill. The claim is that it violates the free speech rights of teachers who want to teach homosexuality to 5 year old children.

For the reasons that I discuss in this post, I disagree.

A New York lesbian couple is suing a fertility clinic because their child is a boy instead of a girl. They said of their son:

Heather said she could not bear touching him because it “sent electric shockwaves through me.” She said she also experienced “extreme anxiety” because when she looked at her son, he would “contort into the faces of all these grown men that I know.”

Then there are guns and camouflage.

People say, ‘Oh, he’s a boy, let him hit you,’ and all the camouflage and guns don’t help. It reinforces masculinity,

So how does she feel about her son?

She said she experienced “complex postpartum depression,” including “several incidences of suicidal ideation.”

If seeing her son makes her suicidal because he is a boy, that child needs to be removed from that household.

MIT has decided to resume the requirement for applicants to take the SAT or ACT exams. Other colleges, California state for example, are unlikely to. They claim that actually requiring students to know things is discrimination.

We are truly entering the dark ages.

I have seen so many people react with disgust because Will Smith slapped the shit out of Chris Rock. Smith did so because the joke Rock told was mocking a disability of Smith’s wife, and this wasn’t the first time he had done so.

Earlier this month, there was a case where a Dunkin employee punched customer, which resulted in the death of that customer. The worker delivered the deadly blow because the customer called him a “nigger.” The worker received a very lenient sentence of two years’ house arrest. He KILLED a man, but many people understood and condoned the attack because the man called him a name which anyone knows is highly offensive.

I agree. There are things that one person can say to another that simply BEG for a physical response. Each of us has a hot button issue. The one thing that someone can say to us that is worthy of delivering a knuckle sandwich. A man defending the honor of his wife falls in that category. If my wife were disabled and a man made fun of that disability after being warned, I certainly would feel obligated to defend her.

For work related reasons, I had to be fingerprinted today. I went to the company that does the fingerprinting to have it done. I found it ironic that Federal law requires me to be fingerprinted so I can have access to certain drugs, but the person doing the fingerprinting absolutely REEKED of marijuana.

A parent is critical of Rochester Community School board on Social Media. The school board saw the messages, then called and notified her employer about her postings on Social Media. The parent was fired by her employer. She sued the school board in Federal court, and they settled out of court.

This is where Republicans need to hammer the Democrats. They are using schools to attack and groom your kids. Use things like their opposition to the Florida Parental Rights law and make them defend wanting to torture and groom kids for trannies in Kindergarten.

Several decades ago, I read a book about some people who seceded from the US, I think it was some portion of the west, perhaps Montana. They formed their own country with laws that were all in plain English. The US President couldn’t allow this to continue and invaded, wiping nearly everyone out. The people who lived in this state had spread special forces teams out as “kill teams” of assassins whose job was to kill US officials that had ordered the attack. The very end of the book had one of these assassins acting as a suicide bomber by killing the President with a bomb hidden in his briefcase.
