Not It

I’ve read all of the angst about the guy in Utah that got smoked when the FBI paid him a visit. I’ve listened to those who claim this is a sign that its time to go dark. That it’s a sign that the Feds are picking on him.

It isn’t any of those things.

The guy has been issuing rather explicit death threats against specific politicians for years. Posting pictures of himself in a ghillie suit holding a rifle. He’s had multiple previous visits from the Feds. With all of that, he kept doing it. It’s always been illegal to issue death threats. This isn’t a sign of targeted assassination. It’s an armed dumbass who didn’t know when to keep his bloviating mouth shut. There is a line, and he crossed it.

If you want to off a politico, then keep your mouth shut and just do it. If you want to run your mouth, then know that there are things you can’t do, and threatening to kill people is one of them. When you ignore that advice, expect to be the target of some FBI investigations, and when they DO come over, it’s a bad idea to point guns at them. That’s been true since forever.

Teaching

From JKb over at gunfreezone, we read about this six year old kid that brought a gun to school and shot his teacher. Yeah, the young age of the kid is shocking, but what isn’t shocking is that a black student got away with multiple acts of violence. The kid is now staying with his grandmother, who blames the school and his teachers:

‘He’s progressing. He’s progressed more since he’s been at this school than all those crazy years he was in a Newport News public school system,’ he added. ‘And I guess basically what he needed was a stable environment. And he just needed to be in a loving environment.

The mother blames ADHD. The kid had a long list of violent outbursts.

When I was a teacher, one of my biggest complaints was that teachers trying to maintain control of their classrooms had to fight against the students, their administrators, and the parents. You would write a discipline referral, the kid would get a stern talking to, then sent back to class. Why? Because less discipline makes the school look better.

That’s why I was told that I would need to go to anger management after I got attacked by a student in my classroom. That’s why we teachers were told that because 30% of the student body was black, but 50% of referrals were written against black students meant that we were racists.

Clique

From the local cops/news:

Several vehicles in an Apopka neighborhood were vandalized last month with inappropriate slurs and images. The phrase “CKM” — likely meaning “Certified Kutt Mafia,” which is an Apopka-based clique — was also spray-painted onto one of the vehicles, police said. Detectives said that members of CKM are young juveniles and some adults who live in the Apopka area, several of whom have extensive criminal histories.

So they aren’t criminal gangs any more. We now call them “cliques”

They Should be Disbarred

An attorney that is part of Hunter Biden’s legal team called the court house, pretending to work for a Republican congressman to get a court filing removed from the public docket, saying that it was filed in error. The judge is furious.

U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika, who is set to decide whether to approve Biden’s plea deal on tax and gun charges today, said that a member of his legal team “misrepresented … who she worked for” to get evidence removed from the docket. Noreika threatened to place sanctions on the lawyers.

The parties had reached a plea deal that would see Biden getting away without punishment for his crimes. The judge appeared upset that she was being asked to act as a “rubber stamp” on the deal. The deal is now on hold, and Hunter pled not guilty today.

There is certainly more here than there was against Clinton or Trump on their impeachments. If even half of the allegations are true, the President has been taking bribes for decades, and this certainly deserves impeachment and removal from office, but we all know that this will never happen in the banana republic that this nation has become.

Doesn’t Count

People keep pointing out that New Zealand and Australia banned virtually all guns and haven’t had a mass shooting since. I have pointed out that this is bullshit for years, and now we have yet another mass shooting in New Zealand to prove that they are lying.

A man in New Zealand killed 2 and wounded 5 before being found dead. The way that Australia and New Zealand compile statistics, this shooting isn’t considered a homicide because no one was convicted for the killings. The law there requires that someone be convicted for killing another for the crime to count as a homicide.

Speaking of Theft

I ordered a new WiFi Mesh, cost $230. Amazon shows that it was delivered and “left in a parcel locker.” I went to the community mailbox, and inside of my mailbox was a key, attached to a key chain that plainly says “A1P.” The key doesn’t open A1P. So I try it in all of the other parcel lockers, and it opens box D1P. Inside of that locker was another key attached to a keychain that said D1P. That obviously wasn’t the right keychain, so we try them all again. This time, the key opens locker B2P.

There is a parcel in it, but that one is addressed to someone around the corner from my house. We take the package to them, and they tell us that they had a key in their box, but when they opened the parcel locker, it was empty.

I try to contact Amazon, but they tell me that I can’t report the box as missing until 48 hours after it was reported delivered. So I have to wait.

For now, I am out my $230 and don’t have what I ordered. You bet your ass that no one will admit to getting a $200 WiFi router. So now I have to hassle with this because the USPS can’t get their shit together.

This happens with our postal carrier at least once a month. It’s a constant battle of misdirected and lost mail. Two years ago, they lost some Gold Eagles. Then a Roomba. A month later, it was a missing laptop.

There is a postal worker somewhere near my house that is getting rich from stealing mail.

Property Crimes Are Our Achilles Heel

Before we get started, I don’t need anyone quoting the law to me. I know that in most places, we are not permitted to use force to protect property. I don’t care what the law is, because I am fully aware of that. This post is about what the law SHOULD be. Take a look at a couple of videos:

Now consider that we are being told that “insurance will take care of” reimbursing you for theft and vandalism of property. Never mind that the more insurance claims there are, the higher the costs of insurance. People who would destroy and steal your property for whatever reason are confident in the belief that they will get away with it, and in many cases, they are correct. The police and courts, our own law enforcement, are failing in their duties by doing absolutely nothing to prevent this, and in some cases are actively supporting it.

I trade pieces of my life in exchange for value, which I then used to acquire my property. If you destroy or take my property, you are in actuality engaged in stealing away finite pieces of my life. Pieces that I will never be able to recoup.

Either the government needs to step up, or the people will begin to say “enough” and will begin doing it themselves.
